The 4Th National Textile Standardization Technical Committee Wool And Worsted Sub Technical Committee Establishment Meeting Was Held In Guilin, Guangxi

　　 On April 9, 2024, the inaugural meeting of the 4th National Textile Standardization Technical Committee Wool and worsted Subcommittee (SAC/TC209/SC8, hereinafter referred to as "Wool and worsted Subcommittee") was successfully held in Guilin, Guangxi. Chen Junhu pointed out in his speech that Jiangsu Sunshine Group has built an innovation base for textile technology standards in Jiangsu Province, built a technology exchange platform for upstream and downstream enterprises, and further promoted the marketization, industrialization and internationalization of standardization assisted innovation technology and products. Through the cultivation of standard voice, we will continue to forge and develop high-quality products.

Yang Haijun, secretary-general of the wool and worsted branch of the National Textile Standardization Commission, reported the work summary of the third wool and worsted sub technical committee. Since its establishment in 2008, the Wool and worsted branch has completed 3 national standards and 17 industrial standards, including 1 national standard revision, 4 industrial standards and 2 standards being submitted for approval and submission for approval during the third session.

Zhang Di, on behalf of the National Standardization Administration Commission, read out the announcement on the change of the composition scheme of the fourth wool and worsted sub technical committee of the National Technical Committee for Textile Standardization, and issued certificates to Liu Jiaqiang, chairman of the new wool and worsted sub technical committee, Chen Lifen, deputy chairman, Han Yuru, Liu Weiqing, Secretary General Yang Haijun, and Deputy Secretary General Chen Siwei, respectively. Investigator Chen Junhu issued employment letters to Zhang Deliang and Yan Kelu, consultants of the Wool and worsted branch.

While fully affirming the achievements of the standardization work of the third wool and worsted branch, Director Zhang Di raised four hopes for the new wool and worsted branch: first, we should accurately grasp the requirements of the situation faced by the standardization work of wool and worsted, continue to optimize the standard system, and promote the upgrading of consumption with standard upgrading; Second, we should strengthen the implementation of key standards, strengthen internal and external coordination of the wool and worsted industry in view of the weak links in the high-quality development of the industry, and promote the implementation of key standards; Third, promote the coordinated development of domestic and foreign standards, actively connect with international high standard economic and trade rules, and actively participate in the formulation and revision of international standards; The fourth is to strengthen the construction of talent team, and strengthen the technical advantage support and industry leading role of the Secretariat undertaking units.

At the meeting, Deputy Director Han Yuru, on behalf of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, introduced to the experts and members attending the meeting the achievements of textile standardization in promoting the development of the industry, as well as specific measures in the continuous optimization of recommended standards, steady progress in the internationalization of standards, and strengthening the implementation of mandatory national standards. In particular, new material quality improvement, intelligent manufacturing, green low-carbon and other key areas will be the focus of new standards.

Han Yuru, Deputy Director, read out the "list of advanced units and advanced workers of the wool and worsted sub technical committee in 2022-2023". President Liu Jiaqiang issued honorary certificates for the award-winning units and individuals, and Chen Junhu, an investigator, issued letters of appointment for Zhang Deliang and Yan Kelu, consultants of the wool and worsted sub technical committee.

President Liu Jiaqiang first expressed his admiration and gratitude for the hard work of the previous chairmen of the wool and worsted branch since its establishment, and proposed three directions for the standardization work of the wool textile industry and how the China Wool Association could play a leading role in the industry: first, the standardization work should be based on serving the manufacturing industry to support the healthy and sustainable development of the industry; Second, improve the level of standardization and opening up to the outside world, and promote the coordinated development of domestic and international standardization; Third, actively cultivate a group of international standards experts who are professional, good at foreign languages, understand rules and are good at coordination, and deeply participate in international standardization activities.

Chen Lifen, secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu Sunshine Group, said that as the unit undertaking the secretariat of the Wool and worsted branch, Jiangsu Sunshine Group should first make full use of the platform of the Standardization Committee, carry out key technology research around industrial development, and develop innovative standards for the industry; Second, we should continue to strengthen the management level of the Secretariat, continue to introduce professionals, improve work efficiency and quality, expand technical exchanges in the textile field, strengthen communication and cooperation with the member units, and develop with standardization and high quality to serve the high-quality development of the industry; Third, we should strengthen standardized scientific research and accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements.

The meeting reviewed and approved the articles of association of the 4th Woolen and worsted branch and the working rules of the secretariat.

The industry standard of Combed Wool and Hemp Fabrics was reviewed at the meeting. After concentrated discussion and review by members and experts, it was finally agreed that the standard submission materials were complete, the standard text was prepared in a standard format, which met the requirements for submission, and it was agreed to pass the technical review. The conference focused on the industrial development and demand, and carried out the collection and research of 2024 standard projects of the Wool and worsted branch.
