In the afternoon of May 21, the China National Garment Association successfully held the eighth member representative conference and the first council meeting in Hangzhou Zhejiang Merchants Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel, at which Chen Dapeng was elected as the chairman of the eighth council of the China National Garment Association. The holding of this important meeting not only completed the general election of the leading group of China Garment Association, but also opened a new journey for the future development of China's garment industry.
At the beginning of the Congress, Chen Dapeng, Vice President of China Textile Federation and President of China National Garment Association, made a report on the work of the 7th Council of China National Garment Association. He pointed out that the past five years have witnessed challenges and opportunities for China's clothing industry. In the face of challenges such as cyclical contradictions, structural problems, changes in the international trade environment, and weak market demand, China's clothing industry has experienced tremendous pressure and severe tests.
But at the same time, as one of the industries with the highest degree of marketization, China's clothing industry has demonstrated strong resilience and innovative vitality. It adheres to the orientation and direction of "technology, fashion, and green", seeks new opportunities in challenges, and expands new space in tackling difficulties. The whole industry takes high-quality development as the theme, digital transformation and supply side structural reform as the main line, and promotes new development with new changes through continuous innovation. Under the grand background of the country's overall promotion of Chinese style modernization, China's clothing industry has also embarked on a new journey to enable the construction of a modern industrial system with new quality productivity and realize the transition from a manufacturing power to a fashion power. In his report, Chen Dapeng reviewed the development of China's clothing industry in the past five years, and also summarized the work of the secretariat of the China Garment Association. At the same time, he also looked forward to the future development direction of China's clothing industry, which should enable the construction of a modern industrial system with new quality and productivity, and open a new chapter in new industrialization. The Congress deliberated and passed the Report on Financial Situation and Revenue of the Seventh Council of China National Garment Association, the Articles of Association of China National Garment Association (draft), the Standards for the Payment of Membership Fees by the Eighth Members of China National Garment Association, as well as the election methods for the directors, executive directors, responsible persons of the eighth Council of China National Garment Association, and the supervisors and chief supervisors of the first Board of Supervisors, Wang Wensheng, Wang Chong, Wang Miao, Feng Dehu and Liu Yueping were finally elected as the supervisors of the first Board of Supervisors and Feng Dehu was elected as the chairman of the first Board of Supervisors by secret ballot with electronic voting machine. The conference also held a notice on the "Notice on Adjusting the Secretariat and Related Working Mechanism of the China Garment Association" and other related matters. According to work needs, the secretariat of China National Garment Association has seven departments, namely, the General Affairs Department, the Membership Department, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Cooperation Department, the Public Relations Department, and the Exhibition Department. Three working committees, namely, the Industrial Development Committee, the Industrial Experts Committee, and the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Fashion Industry Collaborative Development Promotion Committee, as well as men's wear, women's wear, children's wear, down and leather fur clothing, the industrial chain, the pants industry There are 11 professional committees for customization, professional clothing, national fashion, jeans and e-commerce, and institutions such as the Industrial Economy Research Institute, China Garment Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, China Garment Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute, Standardization Technology Committee, Beijing Fashion Expo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhengde Lianyuan Investment Management Co., Ltd. have been established. Later, in the first meeting of the 8th Council of China National Garment Association, Chen Dapeng was finally elected as the President, Xie Qing as the Executive Vice President, Jiao Pei, Yang Xiaodong, Du Yanbing, Li Xin as the full-time Vice President, Liu Chen, Liu Zibin, Liu Changming and other 19 people as the Vice President, and Qu Fei as the Secretary General.
