Association Trends: China Cotton Bank Association Went To Hunan Province For Research

From April 22 to 26, 2024, the China Cotton Textile Industry Association will visit Xiangtan City and Huarong County of Hunan Province to investigate the production and operation of cotton textile enterprises and green development.

It is understood that recently, the enterprise is basically full capacity production, and the overall operation is relatively stable. In terms of raw materials, the price of cotton was weak and fell. Enterprises were cautious in purchasing cotton, and the inventory was about one month. Since April, downstream orders have been generally flat, with product inventory within one month.

In terms of green development, enterprises continue to implement energy-saving and emission reduction measures, expand the area of photovoltaic power generation, increase the proportion of renewable energy use, and explore effective operation and maintenance management of photovoltaic energy storage integration. At the same time, we will actively implement the Action Plan for Promoting Large scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade in, issued by the State Council, to replace energy-efficient production equipment and improve production efficiency.
