On August 11, the 2024 National Fashion Fabric Golden Autumn Promotion Season Industry Exchange Meeting and Hangzhou Shanghai Fashion Fabric Fashion Trend Conference with the theme of "Watching the 'Tide'" was held in Xucun, Haining. Nearly 200 people, including industry leaders, guests, experts and scholars in design, fabric research and development, trend research and other related fields, heads of key textile industry clusters, professional markets and business associations related to the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, fabric purchasers in key regions of the country, designers' representatives, exhibitors' representatives, and representatives of textile, design, and management colleges and institutions attended the event.
The event was guided by the China Textile Industry Federation, hosted by the China Textile Industry Enterprise Management Association and the Industry Cluster Working Committee of the China Textile Industry Federation, and undertaken by Haining Xucun People's Government and Haining China Home Textile City Co., Ltd.

It is the mission of the textile industry to show the unique creativity of Chinese culture, enhance the cultural added value of clothing, home textiles and other products, and make the beauty of silk and the exquisite craftsmanship glow in the new era in the innovative design of textile fabrics, clothing and apparel.
Zhang Ruqiang, Vice Mayor of Haining Municipal People's Government, said that in recent years, Haining has given full play to its advantages in financing Hangzhou, and the scale of the clothing industry has continued to expand, especially with a large number of clothing enterprises gathered around Xucun. This year, Haining grasped the trend of national fashion and national fashion, and the vast number of home textile enterprises actively expanded and explored the application of brocade, jacquard and other fine fabrics in high-end clothing, clothing, home decoration design and other aspects, accelerating the transformation and development to more fashion fields. In 2020 and 2023, Haining has cooperated with Zhejiang University of Science and Technology to establish the Fashion Fabric Innovation Center and Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Creative Hall to promote the research and development of textile fabrics and products and the upgrading of processes. Haining China Home Textile City Hangzhou Sea Accessories Center will further improve the supporting facilities of the fashion industry chain and boost the high-quality development of Haining's fashion industry. It is hoped that enterprises in the industry will enhance exchanges and cooperation, share information resources, jointly respond to market challenges, seek common development and seek business opportunities through this event.
Cao Xuejun, former first level inspector of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the China Textile Industry Federation, said that Xu Village in Haining is a textile characteristic industrial cluster, where tradition and modernity are intertwined, and culture and industry are integrated. Xu Village's textile workers not only inherited the superb skills of their predecessors, but also had the courage to innovate and break through, integrating the "national style" elements into fabric design, giving new vitality and cultural connotation to textiles. In this trend of integration of culture and fashion, Haining China Home Textile City · Hangzhou Haihai Auxiliary Material Center is born in response to the trend. It will be supported by the national style culture, innovative design and high-quality manufacturing, and strive to become a new benchmark leading the fashion fabric trend in the country, and promote the further improvement of the textile industry chain and the expansion of new tracks in Xucun, Haining; Driven by innovation, actively explore new development paths, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of high-end, digital and green industries enabled by new quality productivity, and promote the fashion industry in Xucun, Haining to a new level. It is hoped that the industry enterprises will take this event as an opportunity to strengthen the docking and cooperation between innovative design, surface and auxiliary material development, terminal clothing and home textile, strengthen regional linkage and mutual empowerment of advantageous resources, jointly promote Chinese fashion fabrics to a new height, guide the creation of more national fashion and new consumption, and enhance the cultural influence of Chinese brands.
