New Natural Science Award, "Light Of Textile" 2024 China Textile Federation Science And Technology Award Review Meeting Ended
On August 24-25, the 2024 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award (hereinafter referred to as "Science and Technology Award") review meeting of "Light of Textile" was held in Keqiao, Shaoxing. The evaluation method of this year's science and technology awards has been further improved. With the revision and change of the Regulations on National Science and Technology Awards, the science and technology awards in the textile industry have also been adjusted accordingly. On the basis of the establishment of the Technology Invention Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award, new natural science awards have been added, focusing on forward-looking and theoretical, and increasing the awards for basic research and applied basic research in natural science. ?
More than 70 people, including Li Lingshen, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, Sun Jinliang, Yu Jianyong, Wang Yuzhong, Chen Wenxing and Sun Yize, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhu Meifang and Qing Fengling, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and experts and representatives from universities, research institutes, enterprises and industry associations across the country, attended the review meeting.
According to the introduction of the Science and Technology Award Office of China Textile Federation, there were 210 science and technology award application projects in 2024, 142 of which were reviewed at the meeting. According to the reward method, the evaluation experts reviewed the project by the professional group and the evaluation committee according to the textile group, clothing and home textile group, chemical fiber group, industrial group, dyeing and finishing group, mechanical automation group, standard soft science group and natural science group.
Li Lingshen said at the review meeting that in addition to the new Natural Science Award, which reflects the matching with the National Science and Technology Award, this year's award selection, in order to strengthen the scientific and technological work of the whole textile industry chain, this year, in the establishment of the review group, a new clothing and home textile group, which reflects the balance of the whole industry chain, hopes to attract good scientific and technological projects to participate.
Another feature of this year's review work is that the Science and Technology Award Office of China Textile Federation is also constantly selecting expert team members for project review. In addition to experts in the industry, experts outside the system are also included, and third-party supervision is increased to strive to achieve the maximum fairness and justice in the review system.
Li Lingshen proposed that in the future, the application and evaluation of industry science and technology awards will also make efforts in two aspects: first, encourage disruptive innovation, and encourage the application of projects that conform to major scientific and technological development directions and core key technologies; The second is to strengthen the promotion and transformation of award-winning scientific and technological achievements. Through these key works, we will further give play to the guiding role of the evaluation of science and technology awards in the industry's scientific and technological innovation.
This review meeting is to review the projects that have passed the online review, and submit the review results to the review committee for deliberation and voting. The list of recommended awarding projects and grades will be publicized through the media in the near future.
