It is reported that on June 18, 2019, Chengdu Textile College signed a project construction agreement with Qionglai Municipal Government to open the strategic cooperation between the school and the city. In August 2020, the construction of Qionglai Industry and Education Park of Chengdu Textile College was started. After four years of completion and operation, the opening of Qionglai Industry and Education Park marks the official settlement of the first university in Qionglai.

It is understood that the construction area of Qionglai Industry and Education Park Phase I is about 105500 square meters. The park integrates production and education, science and education. At present, the colleges in the park include the College of Foreign Languages and Cultural Tourism, the College of Intelligent Manufacturing and Equipment, and the College of Intelligent Construction and Environmental Engineering. There are two teaching and training buildings, the Knowledge Building and the Practice Building. Students will be exposed to the cutting-edge technology of the industry in the training room.
