This cloth is used to make the national flag on the moon. Now it can be seen that before dyeing, the cloth showed its original color - brown, soft and silky. To make such a piece of cloth, we need a large basalt in the hands of journalists. 　　

High temperature and corrosion resistance of basalt cloth

Why use basalt to weave cloth? The first reason is that the lunar soil is rich in basalt, which can be used locally in the future. Secondly, it is to ensure that the cloth will remain stable in the extreme environment of the moon. How strong is the performance of this cloth? Let's see through experiments.

The staff put a basalt cloth and an ordinary cotton cloth in 98% concentrated sulfuric acid to see what would happen. While waiting, the staff tried to ignite the basalt cloth with a spray gun. Under the burning of a flame of more than 1000 degrees Celsius, the cloth was not ignited, but rather burned red like iron. The staff said that if you burn at one point for a long time, you can burn through the cloth, but you can't ignite it.

Then look at the two pieces of cloth in sulfuric acid. The ordinary cotton cloth is dissolved quickly, while the basalt cloth still remains in its original state, indicating that it has extremely strong corrosion resistance. 　　

Stone woven cloth is full of scientific and technological models

It is not easy to weave the stone into cloth. The research and development team needs to melt the basalt at a high temperature of more than 1600 degrees, and then pull it into fibers that are almost invisible to the naked eye. This process is somewhat similar to making glass.

Therefore, basalt fiber is as brittle as glass, and cannot be twisted or bent. It feels out of step with weaving. The technical team spent 4 years mixing, wrapping and winding a variety of materials with basalt fiber, which greatly enhanced its flexibility and enabled it to successfully spin. 　　

Transformation and upgrading of traditional production line to improve production efficiency

In recent years, the technical breakthrough of basalt fiber textile was completed in this test workshop. In this workshop, many new processes, new equipment and new products have also been born, which can be said to be a key link for enterprises to move from laboratory to production line. In this enterprise, these new equipment and new processes have also been promoted, and 80% of the intelligence rate has been achieved.

Now, there are almost no workers in the workshop, but the production efficiency has been greatly improved. In this factory, 22 tons of yarn can be produced a day, and the length can circle the equator 66 times.

Not only that, but also the production equipment is smarter. Through the Internet of Things, the cooperation efficiency between devices has been greatly improved. If a link fails, this intelligent display can also give early warning and remind in time, and workers can ride a car to the fault location for disposal.

This enterprise also attaches great importance to the research and development of new materials and products. This fabric can prevent ultraviolet rays. The staff has used an ultraviolet lamp to illuminate for 1 minute, and if it does not turn red, it means that most of the ultraviolet rays have been cut off. Spray the mixing oil used at home on this cloth, and you can see that the oil falls off without leaving any oil stain. This is an oil proof cloth. This cloth can resist wrinkles, and there is almost no crease when you rub it back and forth.

Over the years, many traditional enterprises in Anhui have been upgrading to develop new quality productivity. In July, Anhui Province issued the Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Transformation and Upgrading of Traditional Industries and Improving Industrial Competitiveness. By 2027, the profit rate of traditional industries will increase by 1 percentage point, the numerical control rate will reach 75%, and the proportion of specialized and new enterprises will increase by 10 percentage points.
