The Project Of "Key Technology And Equipment For Large Capacity Preparation Of High Quality In Situ Polymerization Solution Colored Polyester Fiber" Passed The Appraisal
On October 8, the appraisal meeting of scientific and technological achievements of the project "Key technology and equipment for large capacity preparation of high quality in-situ polymerization solution dyed polyester fiber" organized by the China Textile Industry Federation was held in Beijing. The expert group of the appraisal committee is composed of Zhu Meifang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and 7 experts from universities, institutes, and industry associations. Ma Yongmei, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the China Textile Academy, Xu Jigang, Deputy General Manager and Cui Guixin attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Chuanxiong, director of the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Textile Industry Federation. Zhu Meifang, the director of the appraisal committee, presided over the project appraisal.
The project is led by General Technology China Textile Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Textile Academy") and jointly undertaken by Sinopec Luoyang Branch, Suzhou Shiming Technology Co., Ltd. and China Textile Academy (Tianjin) Technology Development Co., Ltd Key process and core equipment in the test certificate and engineering amplification, construction of industrialization demonstration line, industrial production process and product development of the whole chain collaborative technology breakthrough. After identification, the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, among which the in-situ polymerization stock solution coloring technology has reached the international leading level.
Dyeing process can be omitted when raw solution dyed polyester fiber is processed into textiles. Each ton of fiber can reduce waste water by 32 tons and carbon dioxide by 1.2 tons. It is a green fiber that helps China achieve the strategic goal of "double carbon". At present, the stock solution colored polyester fiber is mainly produced by the color master batch dyeing method. The dispersion of pigment in the high molecular weight polyester melt mainly depends on the mechanical shear force, and it is easy to leave large particle pigment aggregates, which makes it difficult to produce dark color, fine denier, high strength and other high-quality fibers. In situ polymerization method, pigment is superfine and dispersed in polyester monomer, and then in situ polymerized on the surface of superfine pigment to generate high molecular weight polyester. Compared with masterbatch dyeing method, in-situ polymerization method has obvious advantages in solving the core problems such as dispersion of pigment particles in the original solution dyed polyester and their interface compatibility with the matrix. It not only significantly improves the quality indicators such as fiber fineness, mechanical strength, color fastness and color uniformity, but also significantly reduces the energy consumption in the production process.
Ma Yongmei said in her speech that the achievements of the project took eight years to complete, relying on the "13th Five Year Plan" national key research and development projects "development and application of high-quality liquid dyed fiber" and "application of high-quality liquid dyed polyester in-situ continuous polymerization technology", as well as the special task of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to tackle key scientific and technological problems. The project achievements were selected into the Product Manual for Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievements of Central Enterprises (2023 Edition) by the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and were highlighted in the "Perceived New Quality Productivity" series of programs specially planned by the two sessions of CCTV's "Dialogue" as technological achievements to promote industrial greening. The project team won the honorary title of "Advanced Collective of Central Enterprises".
At the meeting, Qiu Zhicheng, the senior engineer of China Textile Institute, as the project leader, reported on the work report, technical report, novelty search, testing and application. The project has invented a new method of in-situ polymerization of high pigment concentration polyester, developed special equipment such as step by step precise control reactor, high shear homogenizer, melt direct spinning master batch online adding low resistance dynamic mixer, developed high stability glycol based ultra-fine pigment color paste continuous preparation technology, raw liquid colored polyester continuous polymerization, melt direct spinning and functional fiber preparation key technology, A complete set of technology and equipment for high-capacity preparation of high-quality in-situ polymerization stock solution dyed polyester fiber has been formed. The project has built a 5000 ton/year ethylene glycol based ultra-fine pigment color paste automatic continuous preparation production line, the world's first 100000 ton/year high-quality in-situ polymerization stock solution colored polyester continuous polymerization melt direct spinning production line, and realized the industrial production and large-scale application of ethylene glycol based ultra-fine carbon black paste, in-situ polymerization ultra-black polyester chips and differentiated fiber products. The project has independent intellectual property rights, 24 authorized invention patents, 5 standards, and 7 papers.
The expert group of the appraisal committee listened to the report of the project completion unit, reviewed the relevant data, watched the on-site operation video, checked the samples, and formed the appraisal opinion after inquiry and discussion: the project has completed the requirements of the task statement, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level, of which the in-situ polymerization solution coloring technology has reached the international advanced level. The appraisal committee unanimously agreed to pass the appraisal, and proposed to further expand the market and accelerate the promotion and application.
The high-capacity preparation technology of high quality in-situ polymerization stock solution dyed polyester fiber developed in this project has outstanding characteristics of replicability and popularization, and has significant environmental benefits. The implementation of the project is of great significance to promote the transformation of the technology of China's liquid dyeing fiber industry from "parallel" to "leading", and help China achieve the strategic goal of "double carbon".
More than 30 representatives from the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Textile Industry Federation, the Project Appraisal Committee, and the project completion units such as China Textile Academy, China Petrochemical Corporation Luoyang Branch, Suzhou Shiming Science and Technology Co., Ltd., and China Textile Academy (Tianjin) Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.
