The Project Of "Research On The Implementation Path Of Synergistic Efficiency Of Pollution Reduction And Carbon Reduction In Textile Industry" Was Successfully Concluded
On October 22, 2024, the review meeting for the conclusion of the strategic research and consulting project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Research on the Implementation Path of Synergistic Efficiency Enhancement of Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction in the Textile Industry, was held in Beijing.
Sun Ruizhe, President of the China Textile Industry Federation, and Wang Xiaowen, Director of the Office of the Environment and Light Textile Engineering Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the meeting. Hou Li'an, Academician of Rocket Force Engineering University of the People's Liberation Army, Wu Fengchang, Academician of China Academy of Environmental Sciences, Tian Jinping, Professor of Tsinghua University, Zhang Zhongguo, Researcher of Resources and Environment Research Institute of Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, Fu Guangwei, President of China Textile Engineering Society, Ma Yongmei, General Manager of China Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd Professor Wang Jianming of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology served as the evaluation expert. Yu Jianyong, Jiang Shicheng, Chen Wenxing, Xu Weilin, Sun Yize, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation, Yan Yan and other association leaders, colleges and universities, and more than 60 project team members of enterprises attended the meeting online and offline. The review meeting was presided over by academician Yu Jianyong, the project leader, and academician Hou Li'an, the leader of the review expert group.
Zhang Chuanxiong, Director of the Science and Technology Development Center of Textile Industry, made the final report on behalf of the project team. The project aims at the urgent needs of green development and low-carbon transformation of the textile industry, defines the goal, mode and institutional mechanism of the textile industry to reduce pollution, reduce carbon and increase efficiency, and completes the analysis of the characteristics of environmental pollutants and carbon emissions of the textile industry; The collaborative research on typical pollution and carbon reduction technologies was carried out to form a technology list; Summarized the advanced collaborative practices of key enterprises and industrial clusters to reduce pollution and carbon; Sort out the standard system of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in the textile field; Put forward the implementation path of synergetic efficiency of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in line with the actual development of the textile industry.
On the basis of the research on pollution reduction and carbon reduction, the project has formed the following policy recommendations: First, improve the technology system of pollution reduction and carbon reduction synergy, and enhance the scientific and technological support for pollution reduction and carbon reduction; Second, improve the construction of pollution reduction and carbon reduction standard system, and lead the optimization and upgrading of the textile industry with standard upgrading; Third, establish the basic information database of greenhouse gas emissions of typical products, and improve the basic capacity of industrial pollution reduction and carbon reduction; Fourth, increase the support for green transformation of enterprises and continue to help the high-quality development of the industry.
The review experts review expert group fully discussed the specific contents of the project, fully affirmed and highly evaluated the project achievements, and believed that the project was based on the major requirements of "comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development", with a complete research system, clear ideas, sufficient research, detailed data, scientific methods, and fruitful research results, It can effectively guide and promote the overall green transformation of the textile industry, and unanimously agree to pass the final acceptance of the project. It is also suggested that the research team continue to carry out in-depth research on pollution and carbon reduction in the textile industry to help the textile industry develop in a high-quality way and build a national ecological civilization.
Sun Ruizhe, president of China Textile Industry Federation, pointed out that textile and clothing are the representation of lifestyle and value concept, the presentation of cultural aesthetics and spiritual outlook, and the people-oriented industry. In combination with the national top-level design, the strategic positioning requirements of science and technology support for green development and the research results of the project, Sun Ruizhe put forward four suggestions on further optimizing the green low-carbon science and technology innovation system of the textile industry: first, continue to carry out research on collaborative technologies for pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and constantly improve the collaborative technology system for pollution reduction and carbon reduction. Second, strengthen the collaborative technological innovation of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and achieve self-reliance of green and low-carbon technologies in the industry. Third, strengthen the dominant position of enterprises in the collaborative technological innovation of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and promote the deep integration of government, industry, university, research and application. Fourth, promote the key basic work of green and low-carbon transformation of the industry, and strongly support the sustainable development of the industry.
Wang Xiaowen, Director of the Office of the Environment and Textile Engineering Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, congratulated the successful implementation of the project and its successful conclusion. She said that the textile industry has the characteristics of long industrial chain, large energy consumption and emissions. It is of great significance for the Engineering Institute to organize the research on the synergy strategy of reducing pollution and carbon in the whole chain of the textile industry. Based on the high degree of homology between environmental pollutants and carbon dioxide emissions, the project takes pollution reduction and carbon reduction as the overall starting point for a comprehensive green transformation, strengthens collaboration, and provides effective scientific and technological support for the green and high-quality development of the textile industry. It is suggested that the project team sort out and refine the project achievements and strengthen follow-up research.
Yu Jianyong, the project leader, said in his concluding remarks that this concluding review is only a node of the research on pollution reduction and carbon reduction in the textile industry. On this basis, the project team will continue to promote the construction of relevant technical systems, the development of innovative technologies, the improvement of standard systems, and further promote the systematic level of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in the industry, Promote the application of advanced technologies in the technology list in the industry, and continue to promote the green development of the industry.
