The Third Phase Of The 136Th Canton Fair Opened

The third phase of the 136th China Import and Export Commodities Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Canton Fair") was opened in Guangzhou on October 31. This phase of offline exhibition covers a total area of 515000 square meters, with 24507 booths and 11703 exhibitors. The exhibition topics include toys, maternity and infant products, household textiles, stationery, sports and leisure products, etc.

The third phase of the Canton Fair is themed with "a better life" and has 21 exhibition areas. In the fashion sector, 5152 exhibitors brought different styles of clothing, bags, shoes, etc; In the toy and maternity, baby and children section, 1357 exhibitors brought toys, maternity, baby and children's products and children's clothing with novel design; In the health and leisure sector, 3319 exhibitors brought personal care appliances and pet products with various functions.

On the first day of the opening ceremony, overseas buyers from all over the world shuttled back and forth in the exhibition hall, constantly comparing the quality and price of products, and exchanging business cards with exhibitors when they saw the desired products.

According to Guo Jicheng, who is in charge of the booth of Disheng Textile Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the company mainly produces knitted and woven garments, and its customers are mainly concentrated in Japan, Europe and other places. "We have participated in the Canton Fair for five or six years. Every year, we will invite old customers to the fair to discuss the details of next year's autumn and winter styles, and see if there are more cooperation opportunities in the future. At the same time, we also hope to find more new customers through the Canton Fair." Guo Jicheng said.

In terms of import exhibition, 257 enterprises from 29 countries and regions participated in the third phase of the Canton Fair, including the exhibition groups from Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam and 10 countries and regions in Hong Kong and Macao.

Among them, 170 enterprises from 18 countries jointly building the "Belt and Road" such as South Korea, Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia and Uzbekistan participated in the Import Expo, accounting for about 66%. Russian AMK Company organized a total of 30 Russian enterprises to participate in the third phase of the Canton Fair Import Expo, and the exhibits mainly include drinks, leisure snacks, frozen food, personal care products, etc.

Aimin, head of the Turkish procurement team, is a "China hand" and speaks fluent Mandarin. He has participated in the Canton Fair since 1998. "I brought a lot of Turkish purchasers to the Canton Fair, who are interested in China's electric vehicles, auto parts, household goods, etc." Ai Ming said that the Canton Fair is an important international trade platform, and many Turkish enterprises participated in the third phase of the Canton Fair, hoping to expand the Southeast Asia and Middle East markets with the help of the Canton Fair.

Li Guoming, founding president of the Hong Kong Maternity and Infant Industry Association, is an "old Canton friend". This time, he took ten Hong Kong enterprises to the Canton Fair to look for new opportunities. "I have participated in the Canton Fair for nearly 20 years. The Canton Fair is an important channel for us to gain customers. It attracts global buyers. We want to expand the mainland and overseas markets through this platform," said Li Guoming.
