Wool Textile Industry Association: 4 Group Standards Review Meetings Including Machine Washable Wool Quilt Were Held Successfully

On November 15, 2024, the "Machine Washable Wool Quilt" under the jurisdiction of the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Textile Industry Federation, as well as the "Pure Wool High Count Wrinkle resistant Combed Wool Fabric", "Machine washable Shirt Combed Wool Fabric", and "Loose Structure Cashmere Knitted Fabric" under the jurisdiction of the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Wool Textile Industry Association were successfully held. More than 40 experts and representatives from wool spinning upstream and downstream production enterprises, colleges and universities, scientific research institutions, industry associations and testing institutions attended the meeting online and offline. The Beijing branch venue was located in the eighth floor conference room of China Textile Federation. The meeting was chaired by Liu Dan, Vice President of the China Maoist Association.

Liu Jiaqiang, Chairman of the China Mauritius Association, said in his speech that the standard setting work is a key link in the standardization work. We should give full play to the role of the China Mauritius Association Standards Committee, carefully review, strictly check, and support the high-quality development of the industry with high-quality group standards.

Sun Ximin, deputy director of the Science and Technology Development Department of China Textile Federation, Wang Guojian, director of the Scientific Development Center of Textile Industry, and Zhang Deliang, former vice president of Shanghai Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. served as the expert leaders of the review meeting. The experts in the expert group put forward suggestions on the revision of the standard from their respective professional fields. After reviewing the standard text item by item, each drafting group listened carefully to and answered the experts' questions, revised and improved according to the experts' opinions. Four standards passed the review, and after the meeting, the standard draft for approval will be formed according to the procedures and released to the industry in a timely manner.

Since its establishment in 2022, the Standardization Committee of the China Maoist Association has continuously carried out the research and development of group standards. At present, three standards have been issued and six standards have passed the review. All member units are welcome to pay attention to and participate in the work of the Standardization Committee of the China Maoist Association and contribute to the standardization work of the industry together!
