Donghua University Design Award Dress Of The Asian Winter Games Shines With Ice And Snow
Today! The opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 will be held tonight in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. This is another major comprehensive international ice and snow sports event held by China after the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Donghua University joined hands with China Eastern Airlines to create the award dress with the theme of "Mirage Ice Blue" for the Asian Winter Games, as well as a variety of formal suits, scarves and neckties for officials of the Asian Olympic Council and technical officials of the Games.

The auspicious clouds hide in the mountains and reflect the water, the ritual of swaying steps, and the ice crystal dancing with blood... How can we make the ice and snow "Erbin" collide with the fashion "Magic City" to create a new spark? The award dress "Mirage Ice Blue", developed by the clothing design and production team of Donghua University Asian Winter Games, is inspired by Harbin ice and snow scenery and the essence of Chinese traditional culture. It ingeniously combines the smooth and dynamic feeling of skiing, the elegant meaning of roll Ruyi hat, the nimble step hairpin and the auspicious cloud belt representing good luck and success.
The smooth lines and three-dimensional cutting technology of traditional Chinese clothing are used for reference in tailoring. In the design of hair accessories, the element of step shaking is introduced, and the hair is designed as a light blue snowflake. It gently shakes with the wearer's step, which not only shows the femininity of women, but also implies the firmness and strength of the athlete's step.
Ice and snow themed clothing show
It is worth mentioning that the front and cuffs of the dress adopt manual snowflake shaped buttons to simulate the delicate appearance of snowflakes, which fits the environment and characteristics of the Asian Winter Games. Blue symbolizes purity and nobility, trust and reliability, represents the sky, sea and glacier, expresses the lasting friendship and belief, and is in line with the spirit of sports.
