It was a critical period of spring ploughing. The Science and Technology Mission of the key counties supported by the national rural revitalization, together with the expert team of the national sericulture industry technology system, was led by Luo Ping, the head of the sericulture team of the Guangxi Xincheng Mission of the National Science and Technology Mission, from February 13 to 15, 2025, with Zhao Weiguo, a researcher and Qian Heying, a post scientist of the national sericulture industry technology system Associate Researcher Zhang Yeshun and other expert teams went deep into four townships in Xincheng County, namely, Beigeng Township, Suiyi Township, Hongdu Town and Chengguan Town, and carried out special actions to promote spring plowing through scientific and technological services.

This service focuses on three key points: first, organize county level sericulture technical forces to go deep into the production line, guide the management and protection of mulberry gardens in spring on the spot, and focus on the implementation of key technologies such as mulberry garden transformation and expansion, furrow fertilization, and pest control; The second is to distribute silkworm bacterial disease prevention and control agents and the "Technical Manual for Silkworm Production" to farmers to guide and consolidate the basic links of silkworm production; Third, special technical training was carried out to organize the county's key sericulture technicians, new professional farmers and large growers to systematically learn core technologies such as mulberry garden management and small silkworm cultivation, and effectively improve the professional skills of practitioners.

Through the collaborative services of science and technology missions and industry experts, the standardized management of mulberry gardens has been effectively promoted, helping farmers seize the golden period of spring plowing, and laying a solid foundation for agricultural production and income increase throughout the year.
