A special sorting machine is set up in the workshop to capture and identify impurities through a high-definition camera and pick them out to ensure that the materials entering the cotton spinning line are free of impurities.

In the workshop of the 100000 spindle spinning project, the spinning blowing carding unit, combing, roughing and fine unit, winding and other processes are all automated production. What the workers pay more attention to is the reading on the computer screen. "In the traditional process link of spinning roving and fine combination, more than 20 tons of semi-finished products need to be taken down from the roving machine manually every day, transported to the spinning machine and hung on the machine. The workload is very heavy." The workshop manager told reporters that now, this process link has realized full process automation, and the efficiency has been improved by 20%.

The tall and spacious workshops, the roaring spinning machines, and the busy women textile workers wearing headscarves are the first impressions of many people on the textile industry. But in the workshop of the immediate 100000 spindle spinning project, the reporter felt more modern sense of science and technology - the project uses advanced automatic production and digital management equipment at home and abroad, and the whole process of yarn production uses digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis, 5G communication, etc., realizing digital, intelligent, and automated operations in all links from raw material entry to product warehousing.

The reporter saw clearly the temperature and humidity of the workshop, the temperature, power and energy consumption of each machine through the electronic screen of the project production management system outside the workshop. Once the reading is abnormal, the system will automatically alarm and prompt the engineer to check and repair.

Standing in front of the electronic screen, the production management system comprehensively monitors all kinds of production data in the workshop. "In the traditional process, we have 40 to 50 employees per 10000 spindles of yarn. Now, it has been reduced to 10," said the management.

New technologies have brought new breakthroughs. In front of the reporter, Sun Zonghao, the deputy general manager of Jifa Textile Technology Co., Ltd., picked up a 10 cm high yarn cylinder. This cylinder weighs about 0.8kg. It is a high-end yarn with a specification of 200 feet. The total length is 270000 meters, which is about the distance from the project workshop to the eight major bureaus of Zibo barbecue resort. These yarns have been exported to Europe and the United States.
