Industrial Cluster: Fujian Textile Industry Increased 8.6% In The First Two Months

On March 28, the Fujian textile shoes and clothing industry innovation annual meeting and the "four chains" integration exchange and docking meeting for high-quality development of the textile industry in Youxi County were held in Youxi, Sanming. On site, 30 units including Jinyuan Textile, Haitian Materials and Xiangxing Technology have reached a supply and demand docking cooperation, with a contract amount of 900 million yuan; China Construction Bank, Bank of China, Industrial Bank and other banking and financial institutions signed contracts with six textile enterprises, including Shunyuan and Xuyuan, respectively, with a credit amount of about 300 million yuan.

On the same day, about 300 people participated in the activity, including more than 130 enterprise heads inside and outside the province, including Yongrong Jinjiang, Jiumuwang, Xinhua Yuan, and representatives of industry business associations, colleges and universities, research institutions, and other units. The provincial small and medium-sized enterprise service center, the provincial textile and clothing industry association, and the Youxi County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology respectively carried out the supply and demand docking platform for Fujian industrial enterprises, the Fujian textile and clothing industry intellectual property operation center, the Youxi investment promotion environment, and the promotion of investment projects. Experts from Donghua University, Tianjin University of Technology, Amazon, PricewaterhouseCoopers and other universities, professional institutions, and key enterprises, Sharing and exchange around the themes of technological innovation in textile industry, cross-border e-commerce, brand sailing, artificial intelligence application, etc.

The unveiling ceremony of Donghua Textile Youxi Research Institute was also held on the site. It is reported that the textile, footwear and clothing industry, as a trillion level pillar industry in our province, has formed a complete industrial chain of front-end chemical raw materials, upstream chemical fiber manufacturing, mid end spinning, weaving and dyeing, downstream footwear and clothing products, and supporting textile machinery, and has built a collaborative supporting system of "from a drop of oil to a piece of clothing, a pair of shoes". In 2024, the revenue of textile footwear and clothing industry in Sichuan will rank among the top three in China. From January to February 2025, the textile industry of our province will get off to a good start. The industrial added value of the textile industry will increase by 8.6%, 3.3 percentage points higher than that of the whole country. Sanming Youxi is an important textile industry base in our province, focusing on building an industrial chain of "nylon filament (spinning) - weaving - dyeing and finishing - clothing", which will be included in the pilot counties of key industrial chains in our province in 2024.
