From "second generation logistics" to "textile marshal": The road of inheritance of 15 years of sharpening a sword
The story of Wanjin Textile starts from 2009. Long Teng's father, Long Tianxing, lived on logistics transportation in his early years, driving a large trailer with a load of dozens of tons to and from Peixian County and Guangdong Province. During countless day and night journeys, the entrepreneur with a keen sense of smell found business opportunities: the best-selling products in the Pearl River Delta are in short supply in northern Jiangsu. "My father often said that not only goods were loaded in the van, but also the 'weather forecast' of the market." Long Teng recalled that Long Tianxing had accumulated the first barrel of gold in just three years from carrying a small amount of goods to test water to carrying goods in the van. After the financial crisis in 2008, he resolutely transformed the industry, invested in the construction of 70000 spindle yarn factory, named "Wanjin", which means "thousands of threads weave beautiful".

As the only child in his family, Long Teng's growth trajectory was given special planning by his father: in middle school, he was often required to follow the truck to transport, in winter and summer, he worked as a handyman in a textile factory, but when he studied finance in university, he was "forced" to take an introduction to textile engineering. After graduation in 2008, when his peers rushed to investment banks and securities firms, he put on blue overalls and started as an apprentice in Qinghua. "The first day when he entered the workshop, the cotton wadding of the carding machine was all over his face, and his ears were hurt by the roar of the machine." In 2023, the global textile industry will face multiple challenges: orders in Europe and the United States will shrink, raw material prices will fluctuate, and domestic labor costs will rise.
