Nanjing: 33 New Policies Benefit 228 Thousand Disabled People

Yesterday, the general office of the municipal government pmitted the notice on the measures for preferential treatment for the disabled in Nanjing. For the first time, it proposed 33 preferential policies for disabled persons to discontinue the registration fee of individual industrial and commercial households within 3 years. These policies will be implemented from now on and will benefit 228 thousand disabled people in our city.

The employment service agencies provide free services for the disabled.

For example, the employment service agencies at all levels of labor and social security departments provide services for the employment of the disabled free of charge, all kinds of Vocational and technical training institutions should provide convenience for the training of disabled persons, and give preferential treatment to the disabled on the training expenses; the disabled persons who are eligible for employment under the employment conditions can handle the "re employment permit" and enjoy the preferential policies; the disabled who receive business licenses and engage in self-employed persons are examined by the district and County Disabled Persons Federation, giving one-off subsidies; enterprises and institutions should arrange the work and basic life of disabled workers in the process of restructuring or closing, stopping, and pferring; when the disabled workers terminate and terminate their labor contracts, they should first seek the views of their trade unions and local disabled organizations.

Within 3 years, the disabled persons will be exempted from the registration fees of individual businesses. The disabled will be self employed and engaged in self-management. In addition to the industries that are restricted by the state, they will hold the relevant certification materials. The industry and commerce departments shall give priority to the issuance of business licenses. Within 3 years from the date of approval of the operation, they will be exempt from the registration fees of individual industrial and commercial households (including registration of business registration, registration of changes), management fees of individual industrial and commercial households and management fees of the market.

Those who engage in advertising operations shall be exempted from the registration and registration fees of their advertising units (including registration fees and registration fees).

The disabled persons themselves provide social services free of value added tax and business tax, and the personal income tax for disabled persons is reduced according to the relevant documents.

The students in compulsory education stage of special education schools and ordinary primary and secondary schools in the special education class should try to exempted the tuition from the tuition fees. The students' incidental expenses and book fees prescribed by the syllabus should be exempted. Students with disabilities attending regular classes in primary schools and junior middle schools should be subsidized by families with financial difficulties. Schools and schools should not be allowed to admit disabled persons on the grounds of disability.

In addition, park attractions and open museums, memorial, science and technology museums, art galleries and exhibition galleries are open to disabled people. Business attractions offer preferential treatment for disabled people and permit walking tools to enter.

Disabled persons may give priority to buying trains, cars and ship tickets, and give priority to the station. Disabled non motorized vehicles can park public parking lots for free.
