In June 2003, Yang Lan announced that it sold 70% of sunshine TV to a media group in the mainland.

Since then, Yang Lan has withdrawn from the operation of satellite television.

In July this year, Yang Lan did not count the full 5 years of business trip.

Yang Lan announced that she donated 51% of the rights of sunshine media investment group jointly owned by Wu Zheng to the society, and set up a non-profit sunshine culture foundation in Hongkong.

At the same time, he resigned from all managerial positions including Chairman of Sun Media Investment Board.

This means that Yang Lan has retired from the shopping mall to return to the cultural communication and social welfare she is familiar with.

I have always believed that the change of women in China, especially the change of urban women, is a reflection of the changes in the Chinese era.

On the one hand, they have relatively equal achievement opportunities. On the other hand, they are also constrained by traditional ethical values, for example, the husband and the son, and the women.

I have recently seen a survey that the average wage, average consumption and average working pressure of white collar women under 30 years old in several big cities of China are already higher than men's.

This may never happen in Chinese history, so the status quo of this generation of urban women is very interesting.

In addition, I am one of them. I am often confused by my wife and mother.

Moreover, such social problems can hardly be expressed through the form of elite visits, so they began to plan "women in the world".

You have always been the host of Cui Yongyuan's appreciation, but he recently said that it is hard to see Yang Lan dancing in the world women's promo.

The audience also felt this way. Did Yang Lan in the world woman really change?

Yang Lan: (laughter) someone can't really accept it.

In fact, Yang Lan in the world woman is one aspect of my life and does not need to change anything intentionally.

If the audience is still impressed, Yang Lan, who chaired Zhengda variety 10 years ago, may be more active than he is now, and of course younger than he is now.

In fact, from the beginning of a large studio program, this is the case, and nothing has changed.

You have said that in the world woman, you can convey the "big woman's way of life" instead of the image of women who are calculating and mourning. Is this your description of yourself?

Yang Lan: women should be like this. Never regard men and their surroundings as enemies. The most important thing is to seek inner growth.

A big woman is responsible for her growth. She does not feel that her growth is a matter of men, surroundings or what others should do for herself. She should have a responsible attitude and manage herself well.

Are you responsible for your departure from CCTV?

Yang Lan: I still need freedom.

In hosting CCTV, it is impossible to control its own destiny. Even the final appearance of the program is uncertain.

At that time, I wholeheartedly wanted to be a producer, and wanted to be a complete TV person wholeheartedly, from planning to production, all of them could embody their own ideas.

Later, I want to accomplish this creation at a larger level.

It may be that there are thoughts and expressions in mind, and I want to grasp and control my own rights and abilities more.

There is such a line in mind.

They also suffered some hardships and laughed at others. They all needed to pay the price.

The original environment has great restraint on me, but it also has a certain protective effect on me.

Is it difficult for a female hostess to surpass the "external image"?

Yang Lan: the external image is always an important part of a hostess, and the image may be more convincing than a thousand words.

At that time, many female hostesses were just people who read manuscripts, and did not take the initiative to be thinkers. Even if you were doing variety shows, they should be thinking constantly.

The most important thing is to keep pushing the plot forward.

Now, many host competitions emphasize the skills of the hosts. I think this is of little significance to most entertainment programs, such as conversations and news programs.

We are actually an organizer of thinking and language.

With so many elements, to put them in the program, you have to think about how to organize, making both logic and audience's appreciation habits.

Entertainment is not to make people laugh, but to follow you, listen and push forward. This is the result of thinking.

There are no influential TV talk shows since the truth.

You said, you will keep on talking until you have white hair.

Is it really possible?

Yang Lan: the biggest bottleneck of talk shows is what to talk about and how deep to talk about.

This bottleneck is easy to understand.

According to my observation, in all parts of the world, talk shows are all "slow hot". However, no matter what the TV stations, advertisers or spectators are demanding, the programs are hot and hot. So everyone grabs the star resources, especially when they encounter bottlenecks in the topic, everyone is looking for Stars in a swarm of bees, making the degree of homogenization more and more obvious.

Under this premise, both the ratings and the professional standards have been increased.

That is to say, people can tolerate that the time for a program to grow is greatly reduced.

Do you have the greatest talent in the world? Do you have the biggest challenge in 2000?

Yang Lan: This is the biggest setback in my life.

In fact, this question can explain why my husband said I am a stubborn person.

(laughter) I like documentaries very much. Although television is fast food culture, it should have its function in documenting the course of human culture and human soul.

At that time, I really liked documentaries and started to do Sun TV.

With the help of his husband, he got the first two hundred million start-up capital.

At that time, I was very confident that sunshine satellite TV: the main theme of the Chinese history and humanities documentary was the first one in the Greater China region.

Now it is an idealized mind to think of it, and it suddenly hits the wall of reality.

I want others to rush to do something else, but I am the kind of person who never turns back, and others have not persuaded me.

When it was third years ago, it was difficult to refinance.

In fact, at that time, we really should have changed.

But I always feel that if I persist in persistence, I will have hope.

Today, I would like to thank my husband.

In the face of many difficulties, my husband still supports me. We both invested a large sum of money ourselves to continue this.

Until later, it was hard to establish the business model.

Is it a painful decision to sell Sun TV in 2003?

Yang Lan: this kind of pain is double decker. One is feeling ashamed to those who started investing in this project.

This psychological pressure has not been alleviated.

On the other hand, it is also a self negation.

In fact, though you are full of enthusiasm, this road does not pass through, it also has a sense of dismay, overestimating its ability, and sometimes replacing the sober business thinking with the criterion of value.

Some people say that soldiers and businessmen are different. Soldiers keep their positions until the last drop of blood is drained away, and businessmen are just like being in a ballroom, always thinking about where the exit is.

And I was holding on like a soldier in the mall.

Are you a good businessman?

Yang Lan: I was also reflecting on whether Yang Lan was a businessman.

I once said, I want to be a cultural businessman, because I think China lacks cultural businessmen.

I do not despise the name of businessman. I have been doing business for many years, and I respect all the private entrepreneurs who can succeed in all kinds of changing environments.

I have no idea about the traditional idea of "emphasizing learning and neglecting business".

But personally, I think I am not a good businessman.

Now I am positioning myself as a cultural person who understands business.

It should be said that we paid a heavy price and learned some fur business.

But I think the things in my bones are cultural.

Business, for me, needs to understand its laws, although this kind of understanding sometimes requires a high tuition fee.

I just have no talent for business.

People's Weekly: is it the best choice for you to return to the cultural field?

Yang Lan: I think so too.

I think I am returning.

But this kind of regression tells me 6 years ago that your life is like this. You won't believe it because you haven't tried it yet.

I think, probably everyone's growth will hit the south wall.

A man who has never hit a wall may not be at ease.

But I think, when I was young, I didn't have the courage to fail at all.

Will you do documentary?

Yang Lan: sure.

Some people say that Yang Lan's charm lies in her interior. Over the years, you constantly choose and try, how do you evaluate yourself now?

Yang Lan: (laughs) anyway, many friends told me that they quit job under my influence.

A lot of people in the TV circle told me that some more than 20 year old young people had done a good job in directing and doing well. After hearing my story, they decided to go to Beijing to "float North". I said I became a person who encouraged people to job hopping all day. This may not be very good (laughs).

I always feel that the charm of a woman always comes from a maternal trait, tolerance, concern and warmth.
