Pang Xuezhi, A Capable Woman On The Road Of Entrepreneurship
In Pang Xuezhi, the town of Zhu Gou, Pingdu City, men and women, old and young, did not lose their thumbs.
Pang Xuezhi was a peasant woman who had dug up medicinal materials in the mountains, dried seaweed in the sea, made straw weaving in his home, introduced a grass handicraft project to Pingdu by relying on a pair of dexterous hands and created a Qingdao Yunshan arts and Crafts Co., Ltd., which not only made the native women of this village a road to riches, but also led to the numerous sisters in Yantai, Laizhou, Laiyang, Haiyang and other cities, and promoted around ten million women to become rich together.
Her company has been rated as the "high quality project for women" in the province. She has also been selected as the national "outstanding entrepreneurial woman", the national "double learning double ratio" female expert, the Shandong province technology rich woman expert, was elected the National Association of women entrepreneurs, the director of the China old liberated area promotion committee, and the Chinese professional manager research center.
In 1962, Pang Xuezhi was born in a poor peasant family in Pingdu mountain, Shandong. Seven sisters, all of whom are girls, are the oldest. Her mother is suffering from schizophrenia, and her family life is very difficult.
When she was 12 years old, she began to think of ways to earn money. Then she followed grown-ups learning to identify herbs, dig herbs, and then sell herbs.
Digging up herbs has become her "road to making money".
After going to junior high school, he could not go home at noon because he was away from home, so he had to give up the work of digging up medicinal materials.
But at home in the evening, she learned to make up the weeded weave with her neighbors' sisters. Every night, she made up until 12.
On Sunday, she went to the commune with everyone to exchange for a little pocket money, which laid the foundation for her handicraft in the future.
When she was 16 years old and graduated from junior high school, she went to Dalian to find a temporary job of drying seaweed.
Though dirty and tired, she did not care for her parents and sisters to live better.
In 1981, Pang Xuezhi, who was only 19 years old, returned home and started the burden of life.
In the daytime, she worked with her father in the fields, and in the evening he made straw weave and sent them to the acquisition factory to sell them.
Later, she processed more and sent more times. She thought that it was better to give the factory directly to others than to others.
After a series of twists and turns, she got in touch with Pingdu handicraft factory.
With her enthusiasm, sincerity, skill and superhuman courage, she won the trust of the factory.
For the first time, the factory handed over sixty thousand yuan to her.
She organized a group of sisters, early and dark to do the work, quality and quantity to complete the task on time, won the praise of the factory.
The success of Pang Xuezhi has strengthened his confidence in his career.
She thought: "cake" is not big enough for a few women.
So she organized the surrounding sisters to work together.
First, three, five, dozens of people, and then hundreds of people, the processing team continues to grow.
With the support of the Party committee and the government of Zhu Gou, Pang Xuezhi and her husband took all their savings and borrowed some funds to set up Qingdao Yunshan arts and Crafts Co., Ltd.
It is hard for women to start their own businesses.
Due to inadequate management experience, at the end of the year, her company lost 290 thousand yuan.
Gossip and debt came one after another.
But the difficulty did not frighten her.
In the second year, she made loans with her product and company to make the company run again.
This lesson made Pang Xuezhi realize the importance of knowledge.
So, she enrolled in the specialized course of enterprise management in the Central Radio and TV University. She made use of her knowledge to improve the management of the company's production costs, talents, sales and so on, and faced the social recruitment of technology, management and sales personnel, so that the enterprise got rid of the disadvantages of family management and made obvious progress.
Pang Xuezhi not only focuses on business management but also focuses on product research.
One day in the spring of 1993, a friend from abroad came to her house, carrying a small bag with a hook. Her friend gave it to her when she saw it very much.
After the guests left, she took the edge off the hook, pulled the edge aside, and studied carefully. Finally, she grasped the secret.
The enterprise also started the production of the hooked bag, filling the blank of needle work in Pingdu City.
In order to bring forth new ideas, she has designed and developed more than 1000 new varieties, which are well liked by domestic and foreign customers.
We are looking forward to developing the market.
With the expansion of production scale, Pang Xuezhi's vision is getting farther and farther away.
In 1993, she established contacts with Shandong arts and crafts import and Export Corporation.
In 1998, she invested in Yunshan Handicraft Co., Ltd. and began to participate in Canton Fair every year to find more partners at home and abroad.
In 1999, she joined the Qingdao Women Entrepreneurs Association and became a member of the National Association of women entrepreneurs.
In 2004, she attended the "Second China professional managers summit" and won the "Outstanding Entrepreneur Award".
At present, her company has developed into a modern enterprise which mainly produces grass products and integrates design, development, production and sales. It has developed hundreds of series and more than 3000 products, such as corn baskets, craft bags, dining pads, Christmas pendants, etc.
Most of the products are exported to the United States, Italy, Japan, Korea and other countries and regions, earning about 1000000 US dollars per year and earning about 500000 yuan annually.
In 2003, the company successfully gained the right to self export and paved the way for further internationalization.
Pang Xuezhi succeeded, but she said: if there is no help from the provincial and municipal foreign trade, there is no support from the town Party committee, the government and women's federations at all levels. No thousands of sisters are working hard, where will I have today?
