Laid-Off Worker Niu Donglin'S Entrepreneurial Story
Laid-off is not terrible.
The terrible thing is laid-off workers who don't do things. They earn 127 yuan in the first month. Niu Donglin, 37 years old, became a worker in Siping instrument factory after graduating from technical secondary school. But he didn't have a long time. Niu Donglin, who had only been in the three year class, was laid off because of the sluggish business.
In order to earn a living, he repaired bicycles, worked in pharmacies, and sold drugs.
Once he went to the suburbs to give medicine to an old man, he saw that the old man sold all the food in his family in order to cure the disease.

He has decided to open a pharmacy on his own for several years.
In 1997, he and his wife made up a sum of 5000 yuan to rent a 16 square meter shop on the street, and set up a small drugstore named "Shennong".
When the drug store opened, Niu Donglin decided that he would rather not make money or sell fake drugs, and earn money without fear of hardship.
In order to work hard and frugal, he and his wife live in a store, open 24 hours, and open thirty hours in the new year. Even if they buy medicine, they must ride a bicycle to the home.
In that way, he earned 127 yuan in the first month.
Niu Donglin, who earned 127 yuan a month, felt very little. But he was very excited because it was after all he had worked hard to obtain the fruits of his labour.
After years of accumulation, the business of cattle and Donglin has been expanding. Not only has the Shennong Da pharmacy company been established, but also 8 chain stores have been opened up.
With the development of the enterprises, Niu Donglin did not forget the "selling conscience medicine" to solve the problem for the people.
Niu Donglin set three rules: one is not to recommend more drugs to the public, to hire more professional pharmacists, to train employees, to set up a drug consultation phone; two, to provide door-to-door service, no matter how much money the customers buy, even if only one or two yuan should be sent to the door in time; three, the drug price must maintain the lowest price in the market, and the quality must be guaranteed.
One day, a patient and nurse had a dispute over pfusion. After knowing it, Niu Donglin apologized to the patient and called the nurse to her side.
He asked the nurse, "who is the boss?"
The nurse said, "you!"
"Then who is my boss?"
Niu Donglin asked.
The nurse was puzzled and did not answer.
Niu Donglin told nurses: "the common people are the boss of Shennong. If you think about it, you won't have any dispute with the patient."
The nurse bowed her head in shame.
All of them have to create a brand name.
Shennong is growing every day. In less than ten years, the staff has increased to more than 800 people. Here are some medical experts who are invited for high salaries, as well as university graduates and hundreds of laid-off workers.
