The head of the China Silk Association said that the aim is to make full use of the opportunities brought about by the coming of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, further expand the popularity and influence of high-grade silk signs, and help silk enterprises to open up domestic and foreign markets.
Silk silk is known as the "Queen" of the textile family. Its temperament is noble and its cultural background is deep. It is the accumulation of Chinese culture for thousands of years. It is the witness and pride of Chinese civilization. It has strong Chinese characteristics and is loved by consumers all over the world.
But for a long time, China's silk industry has always been in the status of raw materials exporting countries. There is a lack of international silk brand. Compared with the more developed countries in the world, there is still a gap between the diversity of products and the establishment of famous brands. Even in foreign countries, there are "raw materials in China, brands in Italy and prices in the international market".
This pattern has seriously hindered the development of branding in China's silk industry.
In order to change this situation, since 2002, the China Silk Association has carried out the approval and registration of high-grade silk logo in the industry, so as to promote the brand creation and upgrading of the whole industry, and realize China's pformation from a big silk country to a strong silk country.
According to the requirements of the quality manual for high-grade silk logo, the silk content must be 100% or 70% or more after testing the fabric of high-grade silk. The quality of the products and the quality of the accessories and the packaging materials must meet the requirements of the national or industrial standards, and the requirements of the ecological environmental protection.
In recent years, the China Silk Association has introduced many measures in promoting silk culture, promoting the development of silk brands, expanding international exchanges, enhancing the international status of China's silk industry, especially promoting and promoting high-grade silk labels.
In order to improve the publicity of high-grade silk logo and the market share of hanging high-grade silk logo products, since 2004, the China Silk Association has focused on publicizing and displaying the use of high-end silk label products in the annual China International Silk Fair, the China International Silk forum and the China International Clothing and accessories fair, and has intensified its publicity and promotion efforts in the media, so that the visibility of high grade silk signs and the use of the logo is continuously improving, and the sales volume of the market continues to rise.
By the end of 2007, a total of 30 enterprises in China were allowed to use high-grade silk signs. 13 of them had won the title of famous brand products in China, and 3 had obtained the franchise qualification of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
