Haibo Promotes Deep Development Of Cross Strait Textile And Garment Industry Cooperation

The eleventh cross-strait textile and clothing Expo twenty-one came to a close here.

As the only textile and clothing event with the characteristics of cross-strait economic and trade cooperation at present, after eleven successive meticulous nurturing, it has become an excellent platform for communication and exchanges between the two sides in the textile and garment industry, and has promoted the cross strait industry to enter a new stage of substantive cooperation.

At the very beginning of the establishment of the Haibo conference, the "cross-strait" was the main axis and the most important demand, and immediately received the warm response from the Taiwan counterparts.

Taiwan Textile Development Association, Taiwan Knitting Industry Association, Taiwan garment industry association and Taiwan sweater knitting industry association were initially invited as guests.

Seeing the prospect and role of the exhibition in cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, the "four big groups" of the textile and garment industry across the Straits changed from "customers" to "masters" and became organizers of the exhibition.

The Taiwan Textile Development Association organized more than 40 exhibitors and led the three major trade associations of Taiwan garments, knitwear and sweaters to participate in the exhibition. The exhibitors occupied twenty-five percent of the main exhibition area.

It has been seen as a move to promote cross-strait industries to enter the stage of substantive cooperation with the help of the "Haibo" platform. It is the construction of the "Taiwan textile and clothing R & D center building" and the investment and demonstration park of Taiwan investment.

The "Taiwan textile and clothing research and development center building", which was held in April 18th, is Mr. Chen Tiehan, President of the Taiwan Knitting Industry Association, who raised $thirty million in Taiwanese investment.

From the invitation of guests to the "host" as the organizer, Mr. Chen Tiehan said that the purpose of the move is to provide a convenient, comfortable and well service carrier and platform for Taiwan's R & D institutions, trade organizations, and businessmen from all over the world.

It is said that after the completion of the "Taiwan textile and clothing R & D center building" project, it will carry out garment design, information technology exchange, personnel training, innovative research and development, international trade and other businesses. It will become a platform for R & D cooperation between the two sides, and will be conducive to the introduction of Taiwan textile and garment technology and talents, and the realization of industrial docking and technological grafting.

The Taiwanese investment demonstration park, which was spawned by Haibo, is also a successful model and carrier for cross-strait industry cooperation.

During the last session of the Haibo conference, the "Taiwan business investment demonstration park" was laid up, with a planned land area of four thousand and three hundred mu, and the first phase of development and construction of one thousand and five hundred mu. It will focus on introducing industries and capital intensive, technology intensive Taiwanese capital projects matching with textile and clothing.

So far, Shishi has invested 140000000 yuan in infrastructure construction, and fifty-seven Taiwan funded enterprises have reached investment intentions with the park, with a total investment of US $250000000.

The construction of platforms and carriers generated by the Haibo conference shows that the substantive cooperation between the two sides of the textile and garment industry has begun to move forward in depth and move towards the goal of jointly developing the international market.

At present, there are more than 200 Taiwanese funded enterprises in Shishi City, and more than five thousand Taiwanese businessmen are doing business in Shishi all the year round.
