7 Enterprises In Ningxia Make Commitment To Product Quality And Safety

In April 17th, the Ningxia inspection and Quarantine Bureau held a special meeting on quality and safety of import and export key products, and signed a pledge of product quality and safety with 7 export garment manufacturers in Ningxia.

According to the briefing, there are 7 enterprises directly exporting garments in Ningxia, 5 of which are exported by foreign trade agencies, and the other 31 enterprises haven't exported garments in recent years.

In 2007, a total of 90 garments were exported to Ningxia for inspection and quarantine, with a value of US $13 million 520 thousand.

In March this year, the Ningxia inspection and Quarantine Bureau produced the export clothing enterprise survey form, and dispatched the staff into two groups, and conducted a thorough investigation of the 43 enterprises with clothing export records in the region, and understood in detail the situation of raw materials entering factories and testing records, laboratory building and capability, and technical responsibility system operation.

On the same day, 7 export garment manufacturers, such as Ningxia St. snow velvet International Group Co., Ltd., BOC Cashmere Industry Co., Ltd., and Hsing Chuan Garments Co., Ltd., issued a commitment to ensure honesty and integrity in all aspects of production, processing, packaging, storage and pportation, and so on.
