Qiang Embroidery Products Show In Beijing

To welcome China's third "Cultural Heritage Day", in June 10th, the Chinese art gallery and Minzu University of China jointly sponsored the "beauty in the folk art collection of Chinese folk arts and crafts," a popular exhibition of folk paper cutting and embroidery, held at Minzu University of China. 61 pieces of folk paper-cut and embroidery were carefully selected by the Chinese art gallery.

Inner Mongolia paper-cut artist Zheng Hudie and the three sisters from the Miao nationality have created paper-cut and embroidery works on the spot.

The second Saturday of June is the "Cultural Heritage Day" of our country.

5. 12. Since the Sichuan earthquake, the inheritance of Qiang Folk Culture has received unprecedented attention.

The Chinese art gallery specially selected the costumes of Qiang people in Sichuan Mawen and 6 large embroidery products from folk embroidery houses in Pixian, Sichuan.

At present, the Museum of art of China has 29 pieces of Qiang embroidery art. These collections are collected by the former deputy director of the Chinese Art Museum, Cao Zhen Feng, who went deep into the Wenchuan area of Sichuan in 1984. They include aprons, headbands, embroideries, streamers, vests, men's shoes and embroidered women's shoes.

In the 80s of last century, because of the loss of handicrafts, these embroidery works of art were very precious.

The great earthquake made the Qiang embroidery few, so these embroidery art collections are more valuable.
