The head of Shandong Garment Industry Association said that Shandong has a more advantageous position in the trade with Korea, and the garments produced in Qingdao, Weihai, Yantai and Weifang are exported to Korea continuously. With the further closer economic and trade exchanges between Shandong and South Korea, the clothing produced by South Korean enterprises in China or produced in cooperation with Chinese enterprises is also heavily sold back to South Korea.
Shandong's exports to Korea are mainly western clothing. Clothing, women's wear, children's wear, knitted underwear and so on. According to statistics, the famous brand clothing "TNGT" produced by LG fashion company of South Korea is completely sold back to the Korean market after the production and production in China, and 80% of them are produced in Shandong. The major brands of garments sold by the Elantra fashion company in Korea are quite large in volume after being manufactured in Shandong and Jiangsu.
"Of course, Lu is not a brand. Many of our garment companies are still in the position of OEM for Korean and Japanese enterprises. To build a big clothing Province, we need to have our own brand. The official said, "Shandong garment enterprises, which learn from Japan and Korea's fabric post-processing and clothing design expertise, will surely absorb everything and promote their own brands to expand the Korean market."
According to the analysis of the Central Committee of the small and medium enterprises in Korea, the small and medium-sized garment manufacturers in Korea used to manufacture and make garments for large fashion companies. Now the processing and production orders of these enterprises have been greatly reduced. Many brands have been pferred to Chinese processing products and then sold back to Korea. The clothing enterprises of South Korea's small and medium-sized garment enterprises and Shandong, Jiangsu and other places are facing a positive confrontation.
Textile and clothing is one of the seven major industrial chains in Shandong province. Last year, Shandong's clothing output reached 1 billion 40 million, accounting for 10.6% of the total clothing output of the country.
