Burma Clothing British Cotton Merchants Face Boycott
The British boycott Burma has called on cotton producers to stop buying Burma clothing, otherwise the company may face a boycott launched on Wednesday (October 15th).
Clothing export is an important source of income for Burma's brutal military dictatorship. The Burma trade union appealed to companies not to purchase Burma clothing because clothing exports provided funds for authoritarian governments.
In 2003, the United States banned the import of Burma garments. More than 130 high street clothing retailers formulated policies and policies and did not purchase Burma clothing.
One supporter found that the products purchased from the catalogue of cotton merchants 2008 had a "made in Burma" trade mark. After that, the British boycotted the Burma organization for contact with cotton merchants.
