Apparel Market Tries To Sell Clothes Online
Domestic garment enterprises and sales platforms have stepped up the pace of upgrading.
Guangzhou's largest clothing market, Baima clothing wholesale market, said recently that the company is making full efforts to build Guangzhou white horse clothing network, with a view to optimizing online and offline resources, expanding the professional market and brand merchants' external publicity channels.
Wang Haiying, general manager of Baima company, revealed that the white horse clothing network plan "two years and three steps" should be steadily promoted, because "after all, there is no successful case of traditional wholesale market for e-commerce." But the source said that the domestic apparel online shopping market is huge. According to statistics, the scale of China's apparel online shopping market in 2007 was 7 billion 520 million yuan. This year is expected to reach 17 billion 110 million yuan, an increase of 127.6%; by 2011, this number will reach 70 billion 300 million yuan, nearly 10 times more than in 2007.
