    Before the birth of AF1, all the sneakers were filled with foam rubber.

    Until the birth of special cushioning technology such as air cushion, foam rubber was relegated to the second seat, and became the support and support for embedding special shock mitigation technology unit.

    For example, the general ZOOM AIR is embedded in the corresponding cushioning position of foam rubber, that is, the position of heel and forehand.

    These two parts are the most stressed parts of the body, especially the heels.

    The following is the focus of this lesson, the special seismic unit that you are most concerned about.

    As mentioned above, foamed rubber has become a material rather than a technology.

    Therefore, we do not need to use the word "special" to define seismic mitigation units.

    And future trends show that foamed rubber will be completely eliminated.

    AIR MAX 360 technology is an attempt in this direction. The whole middle floor is air cushion, without foaming rubber, and directly underneath the bottom. Clarify here, I think the whole palm SHOX can not be considered in this development direction.

    Because the SHOX column itself is still foamed rubber, but it is just another rubber column that emphasizes resilience.

    In fact, from the point of view of physics, all mitigation technologies are the buffering principles of physical deformation.

    Compared with various mitigation technologies, air cushioning technology is undoubtedly the most important in terms of success and influence. Air cushion technology brands include Nike, Reebok, CONVERSE, AND1, PUMA, SPALDING and so on.

    ZOOM AIR can be made into almost any shape, so its shape is very large.

    The most intuitionistic is AJ21 and AJ22's replaceable ZOOM unit, the other is the multi chamber and so on.

    By the way, there is another CAGE ZOOM, which is the outer one covered with a cage.

    That's the thickest ZOOM. The shoes represent the Air Zoom Drive AF that Nash has passed through. The air cushion is really very soft.

    Similarly, there are LBJ2 and LBJ3 PEPAX ZOOM.

    But in fact, what ZOOM really attracts us is its cushioning function.

    Both the half palm and the full palm ZOOM provide gentle and average cushioning for us, and bring unparalleled comfort effect at the same time.

    ZOOM's soft and full air cushion can match it, that is, MAX AIR.

    But not all MAX AIR can provide this extreme cushioning foot feel.

    I think only the MAX AIR with 270 degrees opening the back of the palm and the MAX AIR of the back palm used in the PENNY series can achieve this effect.

    But TOTAL MAX AIR, which seems to want to maximize the cushioning effect, failed to achieve this design goal.

    The reason is that TOTAL MAX AIR can not achieve this effect by single chamber and unsupported structure.

    TOTAL MAX AIR is actually a combination of many small air cushions, and when the air cushion is inlaid on sole, it is necessary to cast hard rubber foam to bury it, so as to ensure its stability.

    But this has led to a disadvantage. The supporting columns formed by the interspace between the foam rubber in each air chamber greatly restrict the deformation range of the air cushion.

    The air cushion can not play the cushioning function completely. When the air cushion gets a little bit of pressure, the top to the foot is not the air cushion, but the hard foam rubber, that is PHYLON.. So TOTAL MAX AIR is not as soft as it looks, it is more visual and psychological to meet us.

    ZOOM AIR has completely solved these two bottlenecks.

    Unlike traditional air cushions, the fine filament inside ZOOM does not limit the extent of air cushion sag, but is used to prevent air cushion from overexpansion.

    If they did not pull the outer layer of the two layer up and down the ZOOM air cushion, the ZOOM air cushion would expand into a sphere and burst quickly.

    It can be said that the technology of fiber pulling has made the air cushion technology achieve a qualitative leap in performance.

    Moreover, when the designer connects the two pieces of ZOOM in the front and rear half of the palm, the whole palm ZOOM AIR has another powerful function -- the energy pmission effect of the heel and forefoot formed by the gas flow.

    This function immediately dwarfs RBK's DMX airbag.

    Because DMX is too fragile.

    Speaking of durability, ZOOM AIR is also better than Nike's other forms of air cushion.

    MAX AIR 360 technology has also achieved good results in cushioning performance, but it is still not as thorough as ZOOM. It always needs bracing.

    And MAX AIR 360 is like DMX's short life.

    Therefore, the performance of ZOOM AIR meets the requirements of earthquake mitigation, elasticity, light weight, comfort and durability.

    ZOOM AIR is currently the best form of air cushion technology.


    NIKE's air cushioning technology says that, then briefly talk about other brands of air cushion technology.

    In terms of air cushion technology, Reebok is undoubtedly playing the role of millennial second.

    In fact, Reebok is recognized as a pioneer in the development of sports shoes technology.
