AOKANG Intends To Fully Implement Lean Production

A few days ago, the reporter learned from AOKANG shoe manufacturing company, on the basis of full demonstration and preparation, AOKANG headquarters branch began trial production of lean production mode.

Lean production, which originated in TOYOTA motor in 1950s, is a way to improve production efficiency. It has been widely implemented in Europe and America, and has made great contributions to cost control in various industries.

The specific application to the shoemaking industry is to link up the three separate production sections of shoemaking, sewing machine and molding, and become a "one-stop" production mode, realizing rapid production, greatly reducing the production cycle, and the workers' working hours will also decrease.

According to Huang Zhiwen, director of cost department, there is not much lean production in the shoemaking industry. It is a precedent in the industry, which is a reform on the basis of existing production. There is no need for capital investment.
