Why does the design of school uniform make middle school students feel dissatisfied?

The reporter interviewed one of the school uniform designers, Mr. Liu, designer of Dalian Rongchang Garments Co., Ltd.

"I just started designing school uniforms ten years ago. The style was very fashionable in that year. It was selected in many design schemes and put into mass production.

But I didn't expect this design to be used by some schools until now.

When I walk on the street, I occasionally see students wearing my design ten years ago.

How can this style keep pace with the times?

Mr. Liu told reporters that Dalian was designated by the State Education Commission as a pilot uniform for primary and secondary school students in 1991.

However, due to the lack of fixed production sites, some units and schools themselves organize production, and the after-sale service system is not perfect, causing parents' dissatisfaction.

In 1998, the Education Bureau of Dalian carried out the tendering work of the styles, manufacturers, prices, fabrics and other aspects of the students' clothing in the city. He then produced two sets of design schemes, one of which was awarded the bid.

Thirty-six Sun Xianli, director of the education department, told reporters that although the sportswear is slightly inferior in appearance, it has the characteristics of easy cleaning, wear-resisting, non fading and wrinkle resistance, and it is cheap and practical.

The price of school uniform in Dalian was confirmed by the municipal government in 2004. It was jointly issued by the Dalian Price Bureau, Dalian Municipal Finance Bureau and Dalian Education Bureau. Although the production price has been improving, the selling price has remained unchanged.

If the school is redesigned, the price will increase, the economic conditions of each student's family are different, and there will be great differences in choice.

"According to the students' requirements for the beautiful appearance of school uniforms, the school also ordered a uniform for the students on the basis of the original two sets of school uniforms in spring and summer.

Unlike sports uniforms, uniforms are more stylish, similar to casual suits, but they are almost two times the price of sportswear, which is 145 yuan.

Eleven Gao Mingbao, the director of Chinese education, told reporters, but according to the feedback from students, it is still more comfortable to wear sportswear. Uniforms are usually worn during the activities such as drama, concerts or flag raising ceremonies.
