Wang Yakang Is Expected To Visit Mainland Textile Units For The First Time In March.

According to reports, Wang Yakang, chairman of the Comprehensive Research Institute of Taiwan textile industry, said that the textile institute is expected to visit mainland textile units for the first time in March, hoping to find vitality for the textile industry. At the same time, it also invited mainland textile units to visit in May.

Wang Yakang pointed out that the visit mainly went to Beijing and Shanghai, and the textile industry hoped to maintain closer ties with the mainland and find fresh water for many textile manufacturers in Taiwan.

He said that a visit to the mainland will discuss cooperation issues, one of which is to try to import high-quality cotton from the mainland to Taiwan to become a high value-added product and then export it, but it still depends on the degree of willingness and arrangement of the two sides.

Wang Yakang and his colleagues will also visit academic institutions, industrial research units, and so on. The visit of manufacturers will not be here for the time being. Wang Ya Kang also said that the trip will invite mainland textile units to visit Taiwan in 5 and June to strengthen mutual exchanges and cooperation.
