Recent Cotton Survey In Hubei
Recently, the cotton association of Hubei province carried out a sample survey on the purchase and sale of cotton in 08/09 and the intention of new cotton grower 09 cotton planting in the new year through the information points of Hubei cotton warning system. The survey shows that:
一、棉花收購臨近尾聲，價格下降幅度較大。
The survey concluded that most of the acquisitions in the 53 enterprises are in the closing stage, and are currently busy with processing and sales. Up to now, 53 enterprises have purchased 866 million 850 thousand kg of seed cotton and 164 thousand and 600 tons of lint cotton. The average lint percentage is 37.97%, the average grade is 3.45, the average length is 28.36 millimeters, the average grade, linen, length and other indicators are basically the same as that of last year; the average purchase price of seed cotton is 2.49 yuan / Jin, compared with the previous year, it dropped by 0.51 yuan / Jin, with a decrease of 17%, of which the lowest seed cotton purchase price is 2.35 yuan / Jin for public security and other places, and the highest seed cotton purchase price is 2.72 yuan / Jin in Guangshui and other places.
Two. Nearly half of new cotton sales are sold, and storage is dominant.
Survey enterprises to achieve 82 thousand and 800 tons of new cotton sales, accounting for 50% of the purchase volume. Among them, 60 thousand and 400 tons of national cotton reserves were sold, accounting for 73% of sales, 21 thousand and 700 tons of spot sales, 26% of sales, and 1 thousand tons of futures cotton, accounting for 1% of sales. The average price of spot sales is 11492 yuan / ton, of which the lowest selling price is 10200 yuan / ton, and the highest selling price is 12700 yuan / ton.
三、棉農(nóng)植棉意向下降，降幅較前期略有減小。
The survey showed that the cotton planting intention of cotton growers in Hubei province showed a general downward trend in the new year, with an average reduction of about 15%, a slight increase compared with the previous reduction. The difference of cotton planting intention in the whole province was quite different, among which the largest reduction was 60% in some areas, and the smallest reduction was 1%. Cotton growers in some areas say that planting cotton is a habit of planting for many years, and it is difficult to discard it at a time. In other parts of the country, cotton farmers are against the market thinking that the cotton planting area in the new year is greatly reduced, which may be a very good year for cotton production.
In the survey, some cotton farmers were very puzzled about the new year's planting plan. They thought that the conditions of "white water improvement" were not available, and the yield of other dry farmland crops was not high. For the new year what kind of wait-and-see attitude, on the one hand pay attention to the trend of cotton, on the other hand, compare the cultivation of crops that are higher than cotton planting income, it is difficult to choose.
四、農(nóng)資價格普遍下降，有利于提高新年植棉收益。
According to the recent survey of agricultural prices in Xiantao Cotton Association of Hubei, it involves pesticides used in cotton production: insecticides, 10% glyphosate, cotton insecticidal effects, quick moth killing and so on. In 2008, the combined price was 457 yuan (pieces, bottles), and the price was 428 yuan / piece (bottle) at the same time in 2009, compared with a reduction of 29 yuan, a decrease of 6.3%. Fertilizer for cotton production: urea, compound fertilizer, superphosphate, ammonium bicarbonate, etc. in 2008, the combined price of 6700 yuan / ton in 2008, and the price of 5700 yuan / ton in 2009, the decrease was 1000 yuan / ton, decreasing 15%. Because of the general decline in agricultural prices, it is estimated that the cost of cotton planting will be reduced this year, which will benefit the cotton production in the new year.
