Comment On Tracking Survey Report Of Chinese Textile Enterprise Operators
China's textile industry encountered unprecedented difficulties in 2008, and the textile industry is still facing a serious situation in 2009. What is the current operation of textile enterprises? What are the difficulties encountered? What are the needs of enterprises? Can business operators have the confidence to tide over the current difficulties? These have become issues of concern to all.
Beginning in early December last year, nearly 600 chief executives of cotton, wool, hemp, silk, chemical fiber, printing and dyeing, clothing and so on distributed in the eastern and midwestern regions have received a questionnaire from the China Textile entrepreneurs' Federation of managers. Some have found that the problems listed in the questionnaire are exactly what they care about, so they are carefully filled out and sent back to Beijing East Chang'an Avenue 12, China Textile Industry Association and a series of subordinate units including the China Textile Entrepreneurs Association.
What are the causes and consequences of this questionnaire? How does it differ from the analysis of statistical institutions? Where will it go in the future? With such a "peripheral" problem, the reporter interviewed Wang Tiankai, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association. He personally guided the whole process of the investigation.

The survey was put forward by the China Textile Industry Association. The joint implementation of the China Textile entrepreneurs Federation and the China Textile Industry Statistics Center was launched to understand the current situation and trend of textile enterprises, especially the confidence of business operators.
One of the important intentions of the survey was to supplement the statistical analysis data, Wang Tiankai said. For a variety of reasons, statistical data always need to be processed, so that the real situation of individual enterprises may be covered by "processing". In order to make up for this deficiency, the questionnaire came into being.
As an industry service institution, China Textile Industry Association is very concerned about the views of the enterprises on the current macro situation, and how to respond to a series of policy responses in the near future, and what suggestions have been made to the work of the association. These are refined into 48 specific problems.
At present, the investigation has been completed. As of the end of January 2009, a total of more than 100 questionnaires have been collected. 113 effective questionnaires were collected and analyzed by the organization, and a 17 page "tracking report of the China Textile Industry Association" was formed.

The complicated daily work has made entrepreneurs very busy, and let him spend two or three hours to fill out a questionnaire. The hope of recycling will be very slim. 40 minutes. For this reason, most of the questionnaires are multiple-choice questions, with only two open questions, which do not take much time to think.

"Pertinence, timeliness and universality" is Wang Tiankai's evaluation of the whole investigation work. The foundation of this evaluation is that the questionnaire obtains the most authentic information in the simplest way.

Wang Tiankai said that the China Textile Industry Association as a bridge between the government and enterprises has always been concerned about policy issues, and timely study, to reflect the government. Enterprises have also made some suggestions for the work of the association: helping enterprises understand the state energy conservation and emission reduction regulations and international market access system, guide enterprises to apply for technical pformation projects to the departments concerned, get financial support, and timely reflect the difficulties of enterprises to the relevant government departments. Wang Tiankai affirmed that the China Textile Industry Association will adopt these suggestions and analyze some of them to make them more operational.
This is the first time that the China Textile Industry Association has launched such an investigation. The results of the survey are not only for the reference of the relevant government departments and industry associations, but also for the enterprises involved in the survey, so that entrepreneurs who fill in the questionnaires will know what their colleagues are doing and what they are concerned about.

Under the current special circumstances, the number of surveys can be appropriately increased for some special problems. Compared with the number of questionnaires, the number of questionnaires recovered from the survey is not satisfactory.
