Shandong AI Super High Molecular Weight PE Fiber Production Line Put Into Operation
After years of integrated innovation and technology research, recently, the Shandong ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber production line of Ai Di polymer materials Co., Ltd. has been put into operation.
It is understood that the production line has a high level of technology, and its product performance is excellent. By 2010, the annual output will reach 5000 tons. This also means that UHMWPE fiber has been the first industrialized production in Shandong Province in the three high-performance fibers.
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber is currently the world's highest strength fiber, and carbon fiber and aramid fiber, also known as the three largest high-tech fiber in the world today. Its specific strength is 15 times that of the steel wire of the same section, but its density is less than that of the steel 1/8.
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber has the characteristics of light weight, good chemical stability, wear resistance, bending resistance, tensile fatigue and cutting resistance. It is a good material for making bulletproof vests, aircraft wings, deep sea net cage and heavy haul ropes. Because of its special properties, the fiber has long been listed as a prohibited product exported to developing countries by western countries.
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fiber production technology is extremely difficult, at present only 3 companies abroad can be industrialized production, the total annual output of about 10 thousand tons.
There are 4 domestic production enterprises, but their technology and equipment are quite different from those abroad. The single set of production capacity is low, generally only 50 tons ~100 tons, and the quality of products is not stable, the total annual output is about 1000 tons. According to the China Science and technology promotion development research center of the Ministry of science and technology, the market demand for fiber will reach more than 100 thousand tons in the next 10 years.
Aidi has started its industrialization research and development since August 2005. Its single set design has an annual production capacity of 200 tons. The Chinese production line has been stable for 24 months. It is a single production line with the highest production capacity, stable performance and automation, and environmental protection. The product quality reaches the advanced level in the world.
Through integrated innovation, the new production line that can be put into operation can achieve continuous and automatic operation from raw materials to finished products, and at the same time update the extractant, breaking through the bottleneck of mass production technology such as high speed and high heat drafting. The complete set of equipment has completely independent intellectual property rights.
At present, the first stage project of Ai Di's investment of 200 million yuan has been fully completed. The capacity of 2000 tons can be achieved in 2010, and the annual output will reach 5000 tons after the 2011 two phase project is put into operation.
It is understood that the development conditions of Shandong UHMWPE fiber industry chain are superior. Upstream petrochemical enterprises can develop high quality resin raw materials and replace imported raw materials. There is great potential for downstream marine fishery and leisure sports market, especially for the construction of strong marine economic province.
