    Dyestuff wastewater poses serious environmental pollution problems, because the water contains high toxicity, resulting in groundwater and surface water pollution.

    In addition, the discharge of colored waste water into the water affects the penetration of sunlight and, in turn, reduces the activity of photosynthesis.

    Therefore, removing highly stable dyes from textile dyestuff wastewater is the most important.

    The above problem can be solved by using nanomaterials.

    Nanomaterials are small in size and have wide industrial potential, including energy, biomedicine, and electronic applications.

    Nanomaterials are small enough to ensure that many atoms or molecules are near the interface and form very high surfaces.

    The surface properties can be completely different from the internal state, such as energy, electronic structure and reaction, resulting in completely different material properties.

    Carbon based nanomaterials can be attached to these different dimensions of nanomaterials by selecting functional groups. These functional groups can be used to adsorb dye molecules.

    Because of the enlargement of the area with nanomaterials, the adsorption capacity is enhanced.

    IITM applied for this invention patent. This invention shows the ability of an innovative nano composite adsorbent, which can adsorb dye molecules in basic dyes (Tolune blue, Evan blue, Trypan blue, red yellow, Coomassie brilliant blue), vat dyes, azo dyes and industrial waste water.

    The raw materials of nano composite adsorbent are nano metal / nano metal oxide materials, which are dispersed on the loading materials and synthesize a one-dimensional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional nanomaterials.

    The surface of the nano composite adsorbent is large, which is combined with the appropriate functional group to form the dye adsorption capacity, which can completely remove dye molecules.

    The ultraviolet visible spectrum is studied to ensure that it achieves the amount of color adsorption.

    The nanocomposite adsorbent also eliminates the smell of gas molecules caught in the functional group.
