The so-called standard is to achieve the GB18583-2001 standard, quality guarantee is consistent with the performance of HG/T3738-2004 "solvent based multi-purpose neoprene adhesive" standard requirements. Because the GB18583 standard only stipulates the limit of harmful substances, but there is no requirement for bonding performance. It is not difficult to meet the requirements simply, but the adhesive property is low and the market will not recognize it. There is no difficulty in reaching the standard and keeping the quality, but the rising cost and poor freezing resistance are the bottlenecks. Some enterprises have not used the GB18583 standard to limit the availability of chlorinated solvents, and use a lot of low quality and cheap 1,2 one or two chloroethane. Although the test is in line with the standard, the toxicity is very high. In fact, it is the toxic pfer of "three benzene" to the standard, and the harm can not be underestimated. The amount of 1,2 one or two chloroethane in every ton of adhesive is as high as 300-400kg. GB19340-2003 the standard for adhesives for shoes and bags, made strict provisions on the total amount of halogenated hydrocarbons and the amount of n-hexane, and can be referenced.
At present, the quality of solvent type neoprene adhesive is rather large. Some enterprises still use benzene or benzene mixed with benzene as solvent in order to reduce costs. The benzene content exceeds the standard, which is totally contrary to the national standard from several times to more than 70 times.
Some people feel that the application of GB18583 to chloroprene adhesive has poor performance. In fact, it does not mean that the adhesive performance of the standard glue is poor, but the solid content is slightly higher, and the frost resistance is not as good as the chloroprene adhesive containing mixed benzene. The result of our experiment is a clear example.
The commercially available low and low solid solvent chloroprene adhesive has a solid content of 16.8%, containing mixed benzene 45%, solvent oil >35%, glued three layers of plywood, 1Omin after gluing, and after the combined hammer is pressed, the 7d is not frozen in a 25 degree freezer with the strength book open or plate damaged. It must not be used as solvent for benzene. Toluene is slightly toxic and can only be used in limited quantities, and its dosage in the US and European regulations does not exceed 5%.

Low price competition is a vicious competition of mutual pressure and mutual destruction. It destroys the normal market order and makes more enterprises fight against the fierce low-end market. The result is a serious impediment to the development of neoprene adhesive.
1.5、生產(chǎn)技術(shù)正在推陳出新
The production of neoprene adhesive is mostly small and medium enterprises, most of which are workshop manufacturers. They still use the manufacturing methods in the 80s of last century. They are obsolete, backward in technology, crude in equipment, too high in energy consumption, low in efficiency and low in quality.
Basically homogeneity, imitation and low-grade.
Whether it is rubber mixing or direct dissolution, most of which use a single feeding method, which seems convenient and time-consuming, but also affects the quality of products.
The solvent used in the traditional process is mainly benzene, and the primary feeding method has no drawbacks.
However, according to the GB18583 standard, the amount of toluene is less than 200kg per ton, and the rest should be acetic ether, cyclohexane, butanone, acetone, solvent gasoline and so on.
Considering the cost, the proportion of solvent naphtha is relatively large, and the old technology is still conservative. It is bound to be slow in dissolution rate, long in dissolution time and poor in solubility.
Especially in low temperature winter and spring seasons, the problem is even bigger. The neoprene adhesive has poor bonding effect and poor storage stability. The reason is neoprene is not completely dissolved.
It is gratifying to note that in recent years, some enterprises have improved greatly in scale, production environment and technology.
Shandong, a rubber adhesive company mainly composed of chloroprene adhesive, has a shady and green plant. The factory building is large and spacious and well ventilated.
The agitator has a reflux condensing device, no solvent evaporation, and the pipeline is pumped by metering and adding solvent. The adhesive is directly pumped into the storage tank to fill the filling machine with semi-automatic filling. The whole plant can hardly smell when it is running normally in addition to the chloroprene rubber material. It is basically clean production.
In addition, Guangdong, Shenzhen, Chengdu and other provinces and cities of chloroprene adhesive production enterprises mostly adopt high-speed shear production technology, dissolution is fast, time is shortened, only 4-5h, and the efficiency is very high.
1.6. Water nitrogen butadiene is significantly different from foreign countries.
Neoprene latex has been developed since the 80s of last century and has been successfully applied to water-based neoprene adhesive.
Its characteristics are non-toxic, environment-friendly, non combustible and safe, saving resources, representing the development direction of neoprene adhesive.
However, the water chloroprene adhesive is drying too slowly, and the adhesive needs to wait for a long time. The initial adhesive strength can not be compared with that of the solvent type, and the frost resistance is poor.
At the same time, the bonding effect of impermeable materials such as metals, plastics and rubber is not ideal.
The development of water-based chloroprene adhesive abroad is relatively early.
Domestic water-based neoprene is still in its infancy. It will take some time to produce products with good quality and low cost.
