Ambassador To Japan Cui Tiankai Held A Grand Reception To Celebrate The 60Th Anniversary National Day
On September 29, 2009, Chinese ambassador to Japan Cui Tiankai held a grand reception in Tokyo to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China.
Japan's chief cabinet secretary, Hirano Hirofumi, finance minister Fujii Hirohitoshi, 11 cabinet ministers, speaker of the house of Representatives Yoji Takahiro, Senate speaker Jiangtian Izuki, former Prime Minister Hata, Yoshiro Mori, Yasuo Fukuda, Japanese economy, science and technology, education, culture, news and other sectors of the community and responsible persons of non-governmental friendship groups in China, overseas Chinese, overseas students, Chinese funded institutions representing more than 2000 people were invited to attend the reception.

Ambassador Chui gave a passionate speech. Ambassador Cui pointed out that today is the 37th anniversary anniversary of normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan.

On behalf of the Japanese government, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirano Hirofumi warmly congratulated People's Republic of China on its establishment for 60 years, stressing that Japan's new regime attaches great importance to Developing Sino Japanese relations.
