"Wenzhou Shoe Capital": A Wenzhou Private Enterprise Shoe Making Network Is Spreading All Over The World.

Relying on the unique advantages of the footwear industry in Wenzhou, the shoe-making base has been built overseas, and Wenzhou private enterprises are investing abroad.

Reporters confirmed to the Municipal Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation yesterday that more and more Wenzhou shoe enterprises are now going abroad to build industrial zones, building "Wenzhou shoe capital" in Europe, West Africa, Central Asia and other parts of the world, and a Wenzhou private enterprise shoe-making network across the world is taking shape.

In Uzbekistan, 5 South Korean shoe manufacturers such as Ouhai Nalong tanning factory invested 30 million US dollars to build the "Central Asian shoes capital", aiming at the development and production of finished shoes, aiming at the emerging markets in Central Asia.

After the whole project is put into use in 2012, the park will have 4 million pairs of annual shoes production capacity.

On the African continent, Wenzhou Kazakhstan Footwear Co., Ltd. invested 500 million yuan and built 400 acres of "African shoe capital" in the Lai Ji free trade area of Lagos, Nigeria. After the park was built in 3 to 5 years, it is estimated that Nissan shoes will reach nearly 200 thousand pairs, and will become Africa's largest shoemaking base.

At present, Kazakhstan shoe industry has more than 1500 outlets in West Africa, becoming the largest male shoe brand in West Africa.

The shoe base was built in the form of industrial park to Russia. Kangnai group was the first private enterprise in Wenzhou to run an industrial area outside the country.

At the end of last year, Russia's usurusk economic and trade cooperation zone, led by a group of companies such as Kangnai group, was assessed and confirmed by the Ministry of Commerce.

As China's first economic and trade cooperation zone in Russia, at present, the cooperation zone has attracted 18 Chinese enterprises to enter, of which 12 are private enterprises in Wenzhou, mainly shoe enterprises.

Zheng Xiukang, chairman of Kangnai group, introduced preliminary estimates that the annual production capacity of shoe enterprises in the cooperation area is expected to reach 30 million pairs of leather shoes and become a major shoe making base in Russia.

In the usurusk economic and trade cooperation zone, the shoe manufacturers from Wenzhou adopt the cross border chain production mode, that is, to produce semi-finished products at home, export at low tariffs, and then assemble and sell products in the cooperative area.

"Our products can be sold not only in Russia but also in the main markets of the EU," she said.

Zheng Xiukang said that in the usurusk economic and trade cooperation zone, the shoe companies from Wenzhou registered Russian trademarks and entered the international market with the status of "made in Russia".

The Russian usurusk economic and trade cooperation zone, led by Wenzhou private enterprise Kangnai group, is becoming a successful model for domestic enterprises to go out together.

From simple product output to capital export and from "made in China" to "world manufacturing", this cooperation zone has brought a big start to domestic enterprises in developing international market at a higher level.
