Shanghai Convened An Exchange Meeting On Garment Standardization And Testing Technology Service

In April 2, 2010, more than 130 experts from the textile and garment production and sales enterprises from all over the country and standardized and testing personnel participated in the series of Forum on standardization service of small and medium enterprises in Shanghai and the meeting of garment standardization and testing technology service. This meeting will be guided by the Shanghai quality and Technical Supervision Bureau. It will be hosted by the Shanghai Clothing Research Institute, the national clothing quality supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai), the national garment Standardization Technical Committee Secretariat, and the Shanghai Textile Engineering Society's clothing Specialized Committee.

At the meeting, Pan Yijun, the Standardization Office of Shanghai quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Ma Pingchun, Secretary General of textile engineering of Shanghai, and Xu Jian, director of the national clothing quality supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai), respectively delivered speeches. Pan Yijun said that the standardization of clothing promoted the development of the garment industry. With the constant improvement of the quality of clothing, the standardization of clothing will become more important in the future. As one of the main standard drafters, Dong Xiaowen, the technical department of the China Commodity coding center, explained the scope and contents of GB/T23559-2009's code of clothing name code and GB/T23560-2009's clothing classification code.

In addition, Shu Yunhua, director of the national clothing quality supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai), made a report on the entrustment testing process and inspection consulting service of clothing quality; the director of the inspection center of the national garment quality supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai) explained the common problems and solutions of the clothing identification; finally, Sun Min, the deputy director Sun Min of the national clothing quality supervision and inspection center, analyzed the implementation of the quality supervision and spot check and the quality of the samples.

The representatives of the enterprises attending this exchange have expressed their benefits. Through this training, they have strengthened their understanding of standardization work and solved some problems encountered in the actual work. At the same time, we also hope that we will continue to do more training on garment standardization and testing technology services so that enterprises can grasp the new standards in time, so that they can correctly and timely apply standards to market operation.
