Beijing Customs Seized Footwear Infringement Products Concentrated Appearance

When entering the hall, two models of plastic models all over the world attracted the attention of visitors. The models wore Adidas sportswear, pedaling Nike sports shoes, wearing "OMEGA" watches, and carrying "LV" bags. However, these were all counterfeit brands that were found to be infringed.

From traditional clothing, shoes and hats, bags to electronic games, mobile phones, watches, satellite navigators and other electronic products, the exhibition hall of the hall is filled with various kinds of infringing products seized by Beijing customs in the import and export channels in recent years.

Statistics show that in 2009, the Beijing Customs seized 3500 batches of intellectual property cases, and about 190 thousand goods were infringed, with a value of nearly 88 million yuan.

Yesterday, representatives of the rights holders from Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, Pfizer and many other world famous enterprises gathered in the exhibition of achievements, affirming the achievements of intellectual property protection of Beijing customs.

"In the active and passive protection of intellectual property rights, Beijing customs has given us considerable support."

Tan Shutang, the representative of Microsoft China's right holder, told reporters that in July last year and January this year, Beijing Customs seized a large number of counterfeit XBOX360 game handle and GPS vehicle navigator with Windows logo, which guaranteed the legitimate rights and interests of Microsoft China.
