France'S Sports Apparel Market Shrank For Two Consecutive Years
According to the well-known market research and analysis of the US, and the preliminary conclusion of "NPDGroup", the French sportswear market continued to decline for the past second years.
French media quoted the data provided by the agency on 13, saying that following the 3% negative growth in 2008, the total sales volume of the French sports apparel industry, which was the main selling content of sports shoes and sportswear, decreased by 1% to 3% in 2009, and the market had been shrinking for second consecutive years.
Some French industry experts said that this is mainly affected by the financial crisis. People's purchasing power is limited, which directly changes the consumption habits in the past. Cheap, practical, durable sports shoes and sportswear become the first choice.
In addition, due to the constraints of economic conditions, some people turn to choose free venues for physical exercise, and the degree of dress is not as good as before. This also limits the sales of sports apparel.
