Professor Zhou Ninglin has revealed that a new generation of multi-functional coatings suitable for the "Facade" of the external walls of urban buildings has undergone accelerated aging tests and is undergoing trial production.

In the research and development, she introduced that the new material has achieved intelligent light conversion and nano insulation. The life of the coating has been extended by 2 times, and its thermal insulation performance is excellent, which greatly reduces the energy consumption of "ice and fire double days" caused by overheating in summer and cold in winter.

Professor Zhou introduces that her research team has recently developed "paint" which can be used for textiles. The fabric treated by this coating can produce three heavy shielding effects on ultraviolet radiation, and can efficiently absorb ultraviolet light of 300nm360nm, especially for UVA and UVB, which has good absorption, pformation, reflection and scattering, and emitting red light.

The production process of the clothes is green and low in energy consumption. It can greatly increase the UPF value (UV protection coefficient) by more than 10 times, and the attenuation rate of UVA and UVB pmittance exceeds 86%.

Professor Zhou Ninglin said that this magic paint can be widely used in ordinary clothes (shirts, T-Shirts, etc.), professional clothing (such as field work clothes), curtain tent cloth, sunshade hat and almost all fabrics, and she is very optimistic about the application prospect of this technology.
