Volunteers Smiling Face In Expo Park
What is the image of contemporary Chinese youth on the world stage?
The vitality of Yao Ming and Liu Xiang?
Or is it the passion of Deng Ya Ping and Jin Jing?
World Expo, Shanghai, is being held as a stage for Chinese youth to show the world.
In World Expo, in addition to tens of thousands of Park volunteers, there are young workers who are active in various fields such as park operation, environmental protection, postal service, banking, catering, medical care, security and so on.
Most of them came from the "70 generation" and "post-80s generation" from all over the country.
Those youthful smiling faces that ripple in Expo Park have contributed a lot to China and the world.
"Green angels" will carry out Expo Environmental Protection in the end
In May 25th, Jiang Jingjun, dressed in green, spent his 33 birthday on a collective birthday party held at a garbage disposal station in Expo Park.
Jiang Jingjun is one of the 103 "green angels" in Expo Park.
Their job is nothing to do with garbage.
Before the opening of World Expo, they responded to the call of the Shanghai municipal investment and Development Corporation of Shanghai, a young volunteer, who went into the Expo Park to pick up rubbish every day.
The garbage disposal capacity of Expo Park in Shanghai is more than 150 tons. In addition to the hard work of 3588 cleaning staff, the "extra service" volunteer service team composed of 103 young people such as Jiang Jing Jun and so on is also a hero behind the scenes.
Young people under the age of 35 are named "green angels".
Although not a professional cleaner, in the 184 days in World Expo, Jiang Jing Jun and her partners will insist on dealing with Expo garbage and carry out environmental protection in the end.
On the 25 day of the "collective birthday party", nearly 40 Expo "green angels" were 7 angels born in May.
"Everyone is very busy, expressing common feelings through simple ceremonies.
Lu Wei Meng, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Shanghai city investment company, said.
"Driving a battery car in the park, I initially felt very 1; pull Wind 1; (Fashion), but sometimes tourists will also be 1 to us," pick up trash "1, and cast a blind eye.
"Jiang Jingjun regrets.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, Jiang started a day's patrols with her teammates in driving battery cars.
"Work is really trivial. It means filling in the gaps, and seeing where there are cigarette butts, paper scraps and fruit shells, we will pick up them and collect them at the first time.
"
Jiang Jingjun said, after all, it is rare to meet World Expo at home and engage in volunteer work in the park.
What makes her happier is that nowadays when she pick up trash every day, there will also be many unknown tourists helping her.
"Maybe we persevered and moved the surrounding tourists. In fact, everyone can be an environmental volunteer.
"
Nearly a month after the opening of World Expo in Shanghai, Jiang Jingjun and her partners were all sunburnt.
Because the colors of the uniform are quite similar to those of the park volunteers, they are often mistaken for "Chinese cabbage".
"Once a tour, you may be mistaken for the volunteers of the park by more than 20 tourists. We will not refuse any questions from tourists. We are also guides, tour guides, and even ambulance workers.
"
Not long ago, Jiang Jing Jun saved a sick woman in front of the Macao Museum. Jiang Jingjun said, "we can do much more than pick up rubbish.
"
Small stamps "shape" China's image
"To tell you the truth, China Post didn't give me a good impression before.
However, the overall impression of this time has changed, and the postal staff are dedicated and dedicated.
I will come again!
"Japan's" Expo fans "two Shen Dun in the farewell to Expo Park in Shanghai, for the Shanghai World Expo China shipbuilding enterprise post office youth service staff wrote this kind of mind.
Since the opening of World Expo, he has made a "stamp border" with more than 20 Expo youth.
"I never expected that, on the first day of the opening of World Expo garden in May 1st, I received Japanese stamps 1, Expo fans 1, two Mr. Shen Dun's stamp gift; later, when he came back to the post office, I also gave back his commemorative value of the World Expo opening stamp.
"Zhang Jue, a 24 year old Chinese postal worker, smiled and told reporters.
Zhang Jue recalls that in the 11 day of the first day of the opening of World Expo garden in May 1st, when he and his colleagues were preparing to leave work, they welcomed the two Shen Dun and his friends who wanted to make personalized stamps.
"Even though we were close to midnight, smiles and patience were never forgotten.
"Zhang Jue said.
As a genuine "Expo fan" and philatelic enthusiasts, two Shen Dun and Zhang Jue talked enthusiastically in English, and the time was almost unconscious.
On the way out, the Japanese "Expo fans" affirmed the smile and fluent English of the youth of China Post. He gave a stamp of his collection from the Hyogo County of his hometown to Zhang Jue.
In fact, two Shen Dun share the same feelings as the "World Expo grandma" Yamada.
Similarly, the three visit to the World Expo post office, Yamada Sotomiyo loved the world's stamps and personalized postage products, and the postal youth took the trouble to answer questions and make the old man very satisfied.
Expo grandma is a good friend of Expo youth post.
Zhang Jue, a World Expo post with Deng Xindi, said that not long ago, the young staff of the post office raised money to buy a little gift for grandma Yamada -- a cartoon brush, and the old man was excited after receiving it.
"The smile of tourists is our greatest gain.
"
"A small stamp and a correct postmark all represent the image of the Chinese.
"At the China Pavilion post office, Hu Huibin, the leader of more than 10 postal youth, said.
He also told reporters that the postal service of the China Pavilion has extended to places such as the Saudi Pavilion. The youth of China Post hope to extend a warm helping hand to foreign exhibitors at the first time.
"Youth civilization" and World Expo counterparts
The Bank of communications, which is located near the Expo Center, has seen an interesting scene recently. A foreign tourist who is keen on collecting the Expo badge has seen the badge on the front of the bank young worker, hoping to exchange it with him.
The logo on this badge has a clear "Y", which is the first letter of the English "YOUTH".
The badge is a symbol of youth collectives striving to create "youth civilization" in all parts of China.
"Curious foreign tourists are also concerned about China 1," youth civilization number 1, "the logo appeared in the Expo Garden, in fact, striving for 1; youth civilization number 1; the young group has been active in the Expo site, each Expo youth through efforts, are expected to participate in it.
Xu Zhi, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Shanghai World Expo Bureau, said that the national youth civilization initiative, which began in the 90s of last century, continues to date. It is almost the same as the Shanghai World Expo.
A statistics show that during the peak period, there will be up to 200 thousand staff in the Expo site.
Over 60% of them are League members.
It is understood that on the eve of the opening of World Expo in Shanghai, the authorities concerned broke down the restrictions of region, unit, industry and system. In the short period of the World Expo Park, 13 temporary League committees and 7 business lines were set up, covering 107 of the Youth League organizations stationed in the service group.
Xu noted that the "green angels" dedicated to the environmental protection of the Expo and the postal youth who serve the Chinese and foreign tourists are also involved in the creation of the "youth civilization".
After the opening of World Expo, the 20 Youth League commandos of the Expo site have been set up jointly to create a collective, 20 youth civilization numbers (CYL), a collective, 20 parks, and a youth commando team.
Xiong Wenmin, Secretary of the Youth League Committee serving the African Union Pavilion, said: "coming to Africa Pavilion is like coming to a big home. The youth staff of the African Union pavilion are full of vitality. We all have 1 with the African continent. We have close contact with 1; we have special cohesiveness, and we all hope to create a 1; youth civilization number 1.
"
Expo post connects the whole world from square to inch.
"Zhang Jue, a postal youth who graduated from college English major last year, confessed that he was somewhat confused about whether his major had been used in post companies.
But everything surprised her.
From the day of her work, she often received tourists from all over the world. After opening World Expo, she used English almost everyday.
"World Expo enables us to understand the world, and every time I see African friends, I feel very cordial.
Wen Ruili, a Chinese youth worker serving the Somali Pavilion in World Expo, said.
