Limited by Share Ltd, Ningbo, a well-known clothing company in China, announced on Thursday that it has signed a contract with the associated party Itochu Commercial Co., Ltd. and obtained the right to use ELLE brand in mainland China and Hong Kong and Macao for five years.

Itou Tada is a large Japanese general trading company holding 28% of the largest shareholder of Shanshan Group.

According to the notice, Itou Tada granted the Shanshan shares the right to use ELLE trademarks and labels within the time limit for the agreement (June 30, 2015) and the designated area.

And Shan Shan needs to pay a brand fee to Itochu every year (the brand fee ratio is 5.3% of wholesale and retail sales), and has the bottom brand fee, the first year is 1 million yuan.

According to the business plan authorized by the ELLE brand, Shanshan and Itochu agree that the total cost of the company's payment to Itochu will not exceed RMB 170 million yuan based on the agreement.

Shanshan shares believe that this paction has enabled the company to obtain the right to use the trademark and logo of the internationally famous brand ELLE, which is conducive to enhancing the brand influence and overall value of the company's clothing plate, and conforming to the development strategy of "multi brand internationalization" of the garment industry.

ELLE ownership of trademarks and labels is owned by Hachette FilipacchiPresse, S.A. (HACHETTE).

Itou Tada was granted the right and license to use the licensed trademark as an independent brand in the designated area by signing the license agreement with HACHETTE.
