Failed Exhibitions Are Very Similar.
The economy is sluggish, consumption is sluggish, and the exciting exhibitions in the past are also half dead. However, in every exhibition, there are always a few enterprises that are vivid and some can even turn from obscurity to overthrowing the industry leader. Why is that?
On the positive side, it seems that a business exhibition does not do much. Therefore, we can ponder over this matter: what kind of homework do unsuccessful enterprises lack?
First, enterprises that fail to do exhibitions often have vague motives to participate in the exhibition. They even regard the exhibition as a chicken ribs. Most of the exhibitors have a herd mentality. Anyway, it is no problem to think that everyone should do something by themselves. Do not you know that many industries, the industry leader has not participated in the exhibition.
Secondly, there is no definite plan for participating in the exhibition, resulting in uneven distribution of manpower, material resources and financial resources. Many enterprises participate in the exhibition. As long as we look at the exhibition, we know the mentality of the enterprises: inadequate staffing, exhibitors can not arrive on time, and the installation site is short of East and West, which is obviously not well done. Even some enterprises, the exhibition has been opened, the exhibition hall has not been arranged well. Such organization ability, such mentality, such a planning, can it succeed?
In addition, many companies even hesitate to participate in the exhibition, so that the location of the booth is suspended, and when the decision is made, the good location is already someone else's. I have to be a foil for other enterprises.
More troublesome, there is no incentive policy and personnel arrangement for exhibition. The exhibition is a typical "asymmetric war", with short time, strong intensity and high customer density. We need to mobilize the strongest force of the company to organize, arrange and handle subsequent matters. Without the corresponding incentive policy and the highest responsible person, many things are sloppy, resulting in a reduction of 10% in everything.
Finally, the exhibition site control is also a mess. Many enterprises did not find that in the exhibition at the beginning of the exhibition. They even did office politics at the scene. Such exhibiting status can not achieve enterprise goals at all.
In the theory of "Qin," it is said that "six kingdoms are destroyed, and six are not Qin." The reason for the failure of the exhibition is that its own thinking, organization and mobilization capabilities are not enough.
