"Hoje" Orchestra Deducts 9 Classic Bruce Classics From Modern Music.

On the evening of June 6th, the European Plaza of the Expo site was immersed in the passionate Italian songs and dances.

The "Hoje" band from Portugal offered an outdoor concert for tourists.

Among the members of the "Hoje" band are the winners of the MTV prize.

Their first album, "Am LIA Hoje", has used the modern techniques to re interpret the 9 classic songs of Am's LIA, the mother of Portugal's "Fa Du folk song".

Am LIA, who died in 1999, is still regarded as the pronoun of "the world" by the whole world. Her interpretation is regarded as the extreme form of Portuguese musical expression.

Because of Am LIA and her unique influence on Portuguese culture, this combination shows its respect by reinterpreting her songs with contemporary music.

"Fa Du", the name of flower, is a traditional Portuguese "Bruce" music, which can be heard in all the streets and lanes of Portugal.

"Fa Du" has a history of 100 years. It was influenced by music from Africa and Brazil at the beginning of its birth.

Through special guitar music and the singer's unique timbre, it expresses feelings of sadness, loss and pain.

In addition, today is Portugal's National Pavilion Day. The Portuguese pavilion has prepared many cultural performances full of ethnic customs to show the rich artistic atmosphere of the country to the Expo visitors. These performances will last for two days.

In these performances, the Portuguese traditional music "Fa Du" will be the main element.
