Heilongjiang Activity Week Starts: Using Unique Ice And Snow Culture To Outline Heilongjiang'S Characteristics

The opening ceremony of Heilongjiang week in World Expo, Shanghai was held this morning at Baosteel stage.

Yu Zhengsheng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, attended the ceremony.

The governor of Heilongjiang Province, Li Chai Shu, declared the opening week of the event.

Du Jiahao, standing committee of the Heilongjiang provincial Party committee and executive vice governor of Shanghai, Yang Xiong, standing committee of the municipal Party committee and executive vice mayor, and Wang Jinzhen, vice chairman of CCPIT, delivered speeches respectively.

The ceremony was presided over by Sun Yao, vice governor of Heilongjiang province.

Heilongjiang activities week will take "ice and snow to make us different" as the theme, and organize various forms, rich content of economic and trade talks, cultural exhibitions and other activities to demonstrate Heilongjiang's unique harmony between people and cities, human and nature, demonstrate the brilliant achievements of Heilongjiang's reform and opening up and construction, show the beautiful blueprint of Heilongjiang's future development, make ice and snow culture add color to Shanghai World Expo, and add color to the old industrial base cities.

Yang Xiong said that Heilongjiang attaches great importance to World Expo and Heilongjiang Pavilion, which is a glittering dream ice city, which has become an exceptionally beautiful scenery line in World Expo.

Heilongjiang's well planned activity week is full of distinctive features and will give full play to the unique charm of different nationalities and cultures in the beautiful black land.

Heilongjiang and Shanghai have a special deep friendship. 40 years ago, about 100000 Shanghai educated youth dedicated their blood and youth to the Great Northern Wilderness's black land.

Since the reform and opening up, remarkable achievements have been made in the economic and social development of Heilongjiang. The Heilongjiang activity week will continue from June 12th to 5 days in June 12th. During the period, there will be cultural performances, band parades, intangible cultural heritage and folk culture exhibition. Not only are the Hezhen fish skin making skills, Oroqen birch bark craft skills, but also the "black pottery" exhibition of Longshan Culture from the past three years ago.

In the celebration square of Expo Park, there will be 1 performances of "magical Heilongjiang" every day. The Baosteel stage will perform 2 Chinese chants and the voice of the nationalities every day. The small performing area of Baosteel stage will perform 3 national music and dance programs "national voice" every day. In the traditional cultural custom exhibition area, Heilongjiang will exhibit 14 intangible cultural heritages in 14 exhibition areas.

This afternoon, Heilongjiang province also held the theme forum of activity week. Through the topics of "green agriculture", "ice and snow campaign", "ice and snow tourism" and "border trade economy", the Heilongjiang's development planning and development strategy were displayed to the world.
