Sales have been steadily accelerating, prices have risen slightly, and the prices of vegetables and other agricultural products in May have dropped significantly.

First, market consumption has maintained rapid growth.

In 1-5 months, the total retail sales of consumer goods in China totaled 60339 billion yuan, up 18.2% from the same period last year, 3.2 percentage points faster than the same period last year.

In May, total retail sales of consumer goods totaled 12455 billion yuan, an increase of 18.7% over the same period last year.

The growth rate accelerated by 3.5 percentage points.

In 1-5 months, the total retail sales of the thousand key retail enterprises monitored by the Ministry of Commerce increased by 17.5%. In May, the retail sales of 1000 key retail enterprises grew by 18% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.6 percentage points faster than that in April.

Among them, with the increasing demand for summer wear, clothing and footwear retail sales increased by 17.9% and 13.8% respectively, and the growth rate was 3.3 and 5.5 percentage points faster than in April.
