XTEP Enters Taiwan To Set Up A New Model Store &Nbsp; It Will Open 300 Stores.
More and more mainland sports shoes brands regard Taiwan as an important foothold in the international market. The first mainland sports shoe brand XTEP, which has entered Taiwan, points out that Taiwan is a good springboard to enter the Southeast Asian market. In this year, eight to ten stores will be opened in Taiwan, and 300 XTEP stores will be opened in the future Taiwan market.
Earlier this month, XTEP's first Taiwan store opened in west gate, covering an area of about 30 Ping. This is followed by XTEP's third stores in Hongkong and Macao. Zhuang Zhaohui, manager of XTEP's overseas business department, said that the first year's business target of Taiwan store is estimated to be RMB 3 million yuan (about NT $14 million 100 thousand).
Zhuang Zhaohui said that the plan for XTEP to open shop in Taiwan began in March 2009. After more than a year's efforts, it opened the market door. In the future, the Taiwan market, XTEP adopted the distribution mode of regional agents. In the first year, there will be eight to ten stores in Taiwan, and the total market volume of the Taiwan market is about 300 stores.
XTEP took a moderate price in Taiwan, because Taiwan did not offer tariff preferences to footwear, and did not expect price advantage as expected.
Zhuang Zhaohui said that in order to create another market, Taiwan stores will adopt innovative models, such as setting up special children's playground, 3D game area and bicycle service station in the shop.
XTEP has a good layout in mainland China. Choosing to enter the Taiwan market is to give full play to the market radiation effect.
According to Zhuang Zhaohui analysis, Taiwan is of great significance in the strategic layout of the brand. As Hongkong and Singapore, it is a strong launching station that can radiate into the surrounding areas, such as the Asian market and the Middle East market.
Zhuang Zhaohui emphasized that the footwear industry in Taiwan was developed, but most of them were concentrated on leather shoes. Less influential local sports brands left a wide space for mainland sports brands to enter the Taiwan market. XTEP was the first mainland brand to enter the Taiwan market.
It is understood that the Taiwan market is regarded as an important overseas market base by the mainland's shoes and clothing brand. Besides XTEP, shoes and clothing enterprises including Anta, PEAK, li long, dragon clothing and nine herdwang are actively planning to set up offices in Taiwan.
