Classification And Application Of Velvet Cloth

Velvet warp and weft yarn is of high quality.

Velveteen

The warp knitted fabric is made up of two groups of warp yarns (ground warp and velvet) and a set of weft yarn, which are woven into two layers of fabric. After cutting, two flat velveteen flattened flanks are formed. The velvet weave is generally plain weave, and the velvet is fixed by the V type solidarity method. The arrangement of the warp and velvet is two kinds of 2:1 and 1:1.

According to the length of the velvet, the velvet can be divided into train velvet and mercerized velvet.

The flat velvet of a train is long, and is often used as a train cushion. Mercerized velveteen has short fuzz, light treated by wire and bright cloth. It is often used as a garment, military collar and decoration.

Velveteen

It is made of weft yarns, interwoven with a set of warp yarns and two groups of weft yarns (weft and cashmere), similar to corduroy.

The ground organization uses plain weave and twill.

The consolidation of fuzz is generally made by V type consolidation method, and the ratio of weft to pile weft is 1:3.

The difference between corduroy and corduroy is that the weft weft organization points are evenly arranged in a certain pattern and stagger through the floating-point.

Therefore, weft is more dense than corduroy, with close fabric and full fur.

Weft velvet is mainly used for clothing and decoration.

When washing velvet, it should not be rubbed vigorously so as not to affect the fullness and smoothness of the fuzz.
